I think somebody finally got it through their heads that they would pay dearly if this didn't go through, no matter how many more Demos were on the block next year.

I agree with that Ed. It's a mid-term election, and that usually doesn't go well for the President's party. But with the failure to repeal Obamacare and the potential not to pass a tax plan, and most of this because the GOP doesn't like the President their voters gave them; then it would be a complete bloodbath in 2018. Republican voters now have a reason to at least be interested in voting at the Congressional level.
I know, I know, the NeverTrumpers think the threat of a certain Democrat impeachment of Trump will cause turnout. Here's a couple of things: I'm not that heavily invested in Trump as a person. He's doing a great job, but he was mostly a message. The Republicans will lose their base if that message is thrown in the trash. And if they allow a President with an R in his name to be impeached and removed again, while failing to do the same for lawlessness of Democrat Presidents; then don't whine to me when the Dems continue that tactic down ballot.

Working all day yesterday with TV on, sound off. CNN? 6 hours of "Breaking News" about Flynn. Endless of repeats and talk of the issue.
Did anything else happen? I don't know because I was watching CNN.
Bill Kristol is now the Left's favorite "reasonable conservative". On CNN bashing Trump 24/ 7. As stupid as usual.
Thank God he's on their side now.
I love tax cuts, but this will actually raise my taxes until I get completely free from California. When you find yourself in an abusive relationship, the speed of your escape can never be fast enough.
