Summer was my favorite season as a kid. I could play baseball all day. In my middle years, I liked Fall. partly because I lived in KC in my 20's/30's and Summer was brutal. Now I like Winter, because I'm in San Diego and it's like the Spring.
Yesterday I saw a picture, I can't remember where, of a tree trunk surrounded by leaves; Today the focus narrows to the clutter alone....will someone please call Jeeves?!
Too bad that around here fall sometimes last only 3 weeks. 2 inches of snow yesterday, and all night rain with a cold windy morning is what we have now. Hauling cut pieces of wood back to some cement so I can split it. I'll send you some pics, 60 of The Contraption. My latest invention.
Fall has always been my favorite season. Blew the leaves into the woods across the street on Friday. There were a few still on the trees, so I aimed the blower at the stragglers to save having to do this twice. Not a good year for color here in the mountains, but we've still had a fairly busy leaf-looker season. They're a bit grumpy this year; I suppose from the disappointment of driving up here to look at dried-out, brown leaves.
Not a good year for color up North in MI either. A long drought resulted in the maples dropping dried up leaves without much of a color turn.
Learned about penny floors last night with the look of the leaf floor in the post picture appearing similar in nature. According to the SonsM, who told me about them, penny floors are a current millennial trend. I don't know if that's so, but the winner of the $200,000 Grand Prize in the recent Art Prize competition in September was an 73 year old gent who created a 12-foot portrait of Abraham Lincoln made from about 24,500 pennies.

Fall back and stay back. just pick one and stick with it. It's not healthy on the circumrythims.

Last night was the time to remind people.
It's also possible for a morning reminder of an overnight time change to fall into the category of Timely Considerations.
Not if you want to get up in time for church.
Being a morning person, it's nice to watch the sun come up again.
Usually, I'm already at work.
