Via Drudge: Two decades ago, the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein invited Ashley Judd to the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel for what the young actress expected to be a business breakfast meeting. Instead, he had her sent up to his room, where he appeared in a bathrobe and asked if he could give her a massage or she could watch him shower, she recalled in an interview.
“How do I get out of the room as fast as possible without alienating Harvey Weinstein?” Ms. Judd said she remembers thinking.
In 2014, Mr. Weinstein invited Emily Nestor, who had worked just one day as a temporary employee, to the same hotel and made another offer: If she accepted his sexual advances, he would boost her career, according to accounts she provided to colleagues who sent them to Weinstein Company executives. The following year, once again at the Peninsula, a female assistant said Mr. Weinstein badgered her into giving him a massage while he was naked, leaving her “crying and very distraught,” wrote a colleague, Lauren O’Connor, in a searing memo asserting sexual harassment and other misconduct by their boss.
“There is a toxic environment for women at this company,” Ms. O’Connor said in the letter, addressed to several executives at the company run by Mr. Weinstein.
An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.

He'll be just fine. He's a liberal Dem mega donor. He will keep his head down and dick in for a couple years and he'll be welcomed back w/ open arms.
Don't think so. This is the new Lefty method for destroying people.
He's suing the Gray Lady, so we've got the Lefties devouring each other. He also attacked a Lefty Oppressed Group - women. And the company's in big financial trouble. They're starting to ask if he used company funds to make some of his payoffs.
He's lawyering up, which is probably the smartest move he's made in decades.
Just like Spitzer and all the others.
Leftys devouring each other, cats marrying dogs, when with the madness end?
No, no, no, it's, "Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...
The dead rising from the grave!
Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together"
Yes, I knew it didn't sound right, but sometimes you just wing it:)
I refuse to get outraged on cue.
This guy's been carrying on sexually assaulting people for years, just like Cosby, and everyone played along (all while smugly and sanctimoniously lecturing the rest of us and generating outrage on false pretenses about other people). They let him carry on because he was making/donating money for them. Now he's played out and they're turning on him. At last. This includes the ladies who got paid to settle up and be quiet. Fuck feminism.
And observe how helpless he is without his media minders who have protected him all these years. Can't generate a genuine apology for the life of him. He's not sorry and whoever was tasked with generating his "I'm sawwwy" note clearly did not have his or her heart or mind in the task.
And they want us to CARE? They want our outrage and eyeballs and clicks? So they can keep on making money off the rotting carcass of this beached whale?
Feh.
He is being attacked because his movies are not making money anymore and people don't care if they offend him since he can't give them a job.
One of the Corey's went on record about a Hollywood pedophilia ring that abused young male actors and nobody gave a shit.
If they can make money on them they will cover up anything.
Feminism is just a racket.
Notice how Gloria Alldred's daughter is his lawyer. Money talks and bullshit walks.
Of course, Weinstein will be back.
Look at Polanski. Look at David Begeleman. Look at all the Stalinists. insert a million other examples.
The only things Hollywood can't forgive are being a Conservative or not having $$$.
Polanski's had to hide in France for 40 years. And they're going after him, too. It's like the 60s when all the New Left creeps went after the Liberals because they were part of the system.

She's a bigger schlub than Mommie Dearest. Allred picked guys who would settle out of court. Sweetie hasn't been that lucky.
He's lawyered up in an impressive way. With only two exceptions, no big star has dropped a dime on him. Those two exceptions were past their expiration date and had nothing to lose. My guess is that these aren't the only two stars Weinstein made a move on, but those are the only two who felt they had nothing to lose. It doesn't look like the floodgates are opening the way they did for Cosby, but it's still early. My guess is that he'll survive. He always had a rep as a sleaze. Now he's sleazier. Not a career ending character flaw in Hollywood. Judd and McGowan, on the other hand, will have even more trouble finding roles..
