In Flanders Field

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Trump isn't Kaiser Bill or LG and his basic foreign policy was drafted by (remember?) Jeff Sessions.

Besides, Tillerson is doing the Wild Eagle* thing

WWI has given war a bad name. If that war had stopped at any date on any terms prior to Armistice Day, the results would have been better. The war to end all wars produced the peace to end all peace.

William: If wishes were fishes...

WWI did not end at Armistice Day, it really sorta ended in a bunker in Berlin a few decades later.

Who says it was over even then?
