"Bill Maher is accused of crossing the line with tasteless incest joke about Ivanka Trump"

Via InstapunditWhile on his HBO program Real Time with New York magazine reporter Gabriel Sherman on Friday night, the 61-year-old made the incest joke about first daughter Ivanka Trump's relationship with her father President Donald Trump.

He said: 'What do you make of Ivanka and her efforts to sort of humanize her father?

'We see all this misogyny at Fox News, we see it in Donald Trump himself. A lot of us thought, Ivanka is gonna be our saving grace.'

The political commentator then took it a step further and mimicked Ivanka performing a sex act on her father.

'When he's about to nuke Finland or something, she's gonna walk into the bedroom and—"Daddy, Daddy…'Don't do it, Daddy,"' said Maher.

'Is that how you see Ivanka?' Maher asked Sherman who, red faced, replied: 'No.'

As Laslo would say over at TOP. That's not "funny haha." It's "funny look at me."

Can we mock what a midget Bill Maher is? Is that fair game? Add to it "mental midget."

Time to start making all these cool jokes about Democrats.

I am second to none except for ed in my admiration fro Trump but it was just a joke. He is entitled to make a joke. Everybody is entitled to make a joke. Even a douche like Colbert. Comedy should be free to do whatever they want. You can not watch their program. I never watch either of those numb skulls anyway but I don't care if cucks want to watch him. Good luck with that.

Yeah, obviously, people should be able to make a joke but if you're going to make a joke, it should be a funny joke. It should qualify as a "joke." Otherwise, people have the reciprocal right to comment - your joke sucks and you're not funny. If you're going to bill yourself as a "comedian," you should make funny jokes on the regular. Otherwise, people can fairly observe that you're not really a comedian, you're just a partisan mouthpiece of unreliable entertainment value.

These people are objectively unfunny. This is not funny. Bill Maher is rarely funny. The fake priest's of cock holster joke fame: not funny. Wanda Sykes: Not funny. SNL: not funny. Most late night guys: Not funny most of the time. The entertainment value appears to be in speaking fraudulence and cruelty to power. Like, let's see what we can get away with. Just spewing out vicious negative blather about the Other People. It allows the fine upstanding progressive to insult his deplorable friends, just not to their faces. Courageous!

I agree with much of what you say Amartel. But being funny is hard. You miss a lot more than you hit.

I don't care if they make stupid jokes about Trump. Just as long as I can make my jokes about the dinges and the slopes and the beaners. Fair is fair.

It's not the free speech angle as much as it is the hypocrisy.

Imagine somebody doing something similar about Barry and Sushi or Malaria. The guy would never work again.

There's also the issue of class. The Lefties are supposed to be so much better than us, but this is their "humor". Remember Wifty Goldbag joking about her "Bush"?

But ed I have made worse jokes about Obama and Moochelle. Let's us not be hypocrites. It is a douchey joke but so what. Look Trump made jokes about Ivanka on Howard Stern all the time. He is not a tight ass. Who cares. There are so many other things to get upset about this does not make the cut.

As I say, it's the hypocrisy.

People have been ruined because they did to the Lefties what the Lefties get away with all the time.

I totally disagree. If you want to be able to make jokes and not be censored you should support those who makes jokes about your side. It is as simple as that.

Ed talks about hypocrisy. It is hypocritical in the extreme to complain about this stupid joke if you want to be able to make jokes about Hillary and Obama.

Yeah, but most of us have standards.

And what Colbert said wasn't all that funny. He was just raving.

If the jokes were funny I'd be fine with them. They're just not funny. Establishment comedy is fat and lazy and Not Funny. Saying filthy stuff used to be counter cultural, shocking the squares with the 7 words you can't say on tv. If the "squares" were ever that shocked they're certainly deaf to it now. Anything but shocked. Now it's the boring, tedious status quo. I'm against censoring. I just wish everyone would up their game.

So it's true.

Amy Schumer is a chick with a dick.

It's a known fact humorless people have abnormally small penises.

You shouldn't sell yourself short.
