“Think as I think,” said a man, “or you are abominably wicked; you are a toad.” And after I thought of it, I said, “I will, then, be a toad.” ― Stephen Crane
I'm thinking the video above is a penance of some sort assigned to us by Father Lem here on Palm Sunday as a punishment for the sin of fussing with each other. I made it about one third of the way through so I guess I'm still going to Hell. Blogger Hell where Trooper will be waiting for me with a gluten free Devil's food cake as a welcome gift.
What is metamodernism? As they state in the video, it's Platonic. As is this. Thanks for the "art" lesson, Lem. I appreciated Gericault's cameo and the icebreaker clip.
I think these guys are onto something. Exactly what is a little fuzzy maybe.
From 2014? How antiquated. That clip needs subtitles.I never metamodernism I didn't like, right up until now.
Vermulen and den Akker could make a valuable contribution to the betterment of the world. I'd give them a leaf blower and a weed-wacker and tell them to get started.
Islam's about to smack all these "ironics" upside the head.Think of it, in their youth when they should have been intoxicated by life they assumed a "stance." What a waste.
Sensibilities of modern art and culture... extrapolated out with... words. Most modern art looks like the wall inside any random dumpster.
what is metabolic beer drinking? needed.
This was excellent. Thanks, Lem! Very thought-provoking, which I love.
