Don Surber: Investigate Obamagate

Via InstapunditThe abuse of presidential power by Barack Obama and his minions is Watergate on Steroids.
  • The Obama administration openly shared classified information with political appointees about Donald Trump in the summer of 2015, and likely earlier. The citation.
  • Obama's attorney general sought warrants to spy on President Trump's campaign team last June, and was denied last June by a federal judge. The citation.
  • Obama's attorney general sought warrants to spy on a server at Trump Tower last October and was granted one by a federal judge. Ibid.
  • The Obama administration spied on President Trump's transition team. The citation.

This information alone — supported by mass media news reports — is enough to warrant a criminal investigation by the Department of Justice, as well as a civil rights investigation into Barack Obama's possible violation of Donald Trump's right to seek the presidency.

Surber's been pushing this line for a while.

One thing that can bring down the Deep State in a hurry is an unwillingness by the Trump Administration to refuse to play by the rules. He needs to make sure he has the evidence, especially since we've seen the level of integrity in the slugs Pissy appointed to the Federal bench.

And, no, if the facts are there, the media won't be able to save his or any other ass in the Choom Gang, no matter how scrawny, because racism, sexism, Trumpism, or queerism.

They are going to try hard to though. I'd think Rice has double immunity with the press. They are still in love with Obama and Rice is one of his favorite "women of color" in politics. So their first instinct will be to protect her. And if anyone goes after Obama's former SoS, they'll scream it's a lynching.

Just going to point out that once the Republicans go after a previous President; expect it to be the norm for every Democrat President in the future to prosecute his predecessor Republican. And we already know the media is completely in bed with the Obama Administration, quite literally.

I'm with Troop; best way to use this is to dismantle the power of the federal government, not to put political foes in jail. They deserve to be there.

By the way; has anyone seen the GOP leadership getting pissed about all this yet? The DNC freaked out when Nunes went to a SCIF and did what people do when they go to a SCIF. The GOP seems to be yawning.

Nixon was shunned as a terrible guy for the rest of his life for almost exactly this - spying on opponents. This is far worse, in my opinion. Ongoing surveillance and broad dissemination of the information, particularly to the media. Deliberately.

I'm so mad I can't see straight. But I fear Leland is correct. GOP is yawning. They have no balls. Obviously, Leland didn't say that last bit. Haha.

But you got my point anyway. :)
