Don Rickles, comedy legend, dead at 90
Comedy legend and actor Don Rickles died of kidney failure, Fox News has confirmed. He was 90 years old.
Rickles was known for his stand-up comedy work and his frequent longtime appearances on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" and "Late Show with David Letterman."

A very funny guy who was never without work. We won't see the likes of him ever again.
Agreed. He only thrived when the country had a sense of humor.
My mom loved him.
Rickles, his wife and the Bob Newhart's were good friends and would vacation together. I would have loved to be included in on those sojourns.
Why the need for insults and WHY the TARGETS who LOVE being insulted? Not funny. Not ever funny. Heart attack humor is NOT FUNNY.
Rickles is the type of comic who will no longer be allowed to work. He insulted people and in the new politically correct world that can no longer happen.
End of an era.
Watched the video posted at Instapundit of Rickles doing the Reagan Inauguration. I'm sure I watched it live originally. Wow, did it make me miss those times.
RIP to the master ball buster. Between him and Dangerfield, there were very few that I adored as much.
