Good thing that wasn't a Cherokee as that might start a war.

It's pretty well established now that the Red Baron was brought down from below via a bullet from the trenches. It wasn't Snoopy nor was it Capt. Roy Brown. Also, it was just around 100 years ago that German aviators invented strafing trenches with machine gun fire.

That Oglala flak is mighty rough.

Funny picture.

I'm ill. Achey joints, headache, barfing water, nothing to eat in 2 days, lost weight, running on nervous energy. Bummer! My eyes hurt.

Chip, don't ever hesitate to go to the doctor. Just say you need a check up. Don't wait until tomorrow.

I had bronchitis and early stage pneumonia few moths ago. I almost didn't go to the doc. (for me - it's a nurse practitioner.) Called the phone nurse because I could not catch my breath and I panicked. She called me back and I told her I was sleeping all the time and I could not stay awake at all during the day. Sleep is usually good, right? No. I wasn't getting enough oxygen.

I drove my sorry self to the nurse practitioner and she saved me. Nebulizer, inhalers, antibiotics. Bless.

Listen to AllenS-- go in if are not feeling better, Chip.

You've got the flu chip. Sorry. Fluids, Miso soup, and just plain tea are excellent tonics to help with the symptoms. Also, take two Excedrin migraine medicine for the eye pain. It works very well. One thing I found, if have one or can get one is a personal humidifier that you can put your mouth and nose into. They are excellent for opening up your breathing and inducing more oxygen into your blood stream since the humidity holds a little more O2 than usual. Also, if you do get one and if you have them, put a drop or two of some essential oils in the water of peppermint, lavender, and citrus. It's a very refreshing aroma and hopefully will make you feel better.

Chip, around here a trip to a walk-in clinic would often lead to 4 hours in the waiting room, and a call to my regular doc with your symptoms would get me an appointment the day after or later unless ... I lied to the receptionist and reported a 102 fever the night before, in which case they would probably work me in the same day. You may get better service in Denver but if not a little white lie (tell the doc himself the truth of course) may be advisable.
