KLEM FM

Overheard at Lem's:
Dust Bunny Queen said...
If we are going to make up stupid scenarios, then go full tilt boogie!!!
I have a vivid imagination :-D

The song, recorded by the Full Tilt Boogie Band, has a spooky vibe -- sort of a like a Doors song without Jim Morrison.

"Absence is the highest form of presence"
~James Joyce

That was a good band. Too bad heroin was stronger than Janis' will to live.

Janis Joplin, James Joyce - double Js - coincidence? I think not.

Here's what's going to happen. There's going to be another attack. Likely horrific. We all know that. There goes *poof* the Left's "resistance." Because at that point the public's sufferance of the Left's subversive foolishness will end. At that point the courts will be overridden by Congress. And draconian restrictions will be put in place. Or total bans. Not because Congress will suddenly discover virtue or patriotism; because it will discover fear -- of us.

Awww. Thanks guys.

:-)

I still have that album! And many many others from that era. Now all I need to do is get someway to play it. I'll probable be disappointed because I think they are all scratched to hell from the parties that we used to have. Ah well...good memories.

oopsy, I had some old Kingston Trio albums like that. You always find a way around. And I think you can get some new record players online. They may be pricey, but...

OT Think The Donald is stupid? He may have found THE loophole in the 9th Circus' decision.

I have several relatives who collect and play vinyl records. In fact, one of them has my old collection, including the RS Satanic Majesties Request with the lenticular cover. My brother wheels and deals in instruments, amps, old electronics and so on, so he has the best turntable/amplifier setup.

When compact discs first appeared I started buying digital copies of the music I had listened to on records. I liked the lack of scratches and popping, but now I am ready to let even that collection go - no reason to keep media of any sort around in the age of YouTube.
