So you remember the story I posted about Santa Claus and the dying kid in the hospital? It seems it was published all over the place the last couple of days. It seems the media can't wait to piss all over it.
Lately I have been following this website called Mediate. They have a story where they say that this story is a big bag of bullshit. Or that it might be bullshit but they don't know. They didn't do any investigation before they published this debunking of the story. They just say it is fake news and not true. Why didn't they investigate it they thought it was a lie? It is because they are lying lazy sacks of shit. This is what the main stream media is all about. They don't investigate anything anymore. They don't go to the source. Use shoe leather. They just spout off nonsense from their computer. Just like you and me.
Mediate is a good site to go to if you want to start your heart off in the morning. At least if you are Trump fan. They have story after story that attack Trump and his voters from the perspective of the lying scum mainstream media. It is like Howie Kurtz on steroids.
As far as the article goes the mook does ask good questions. We just can't expect the main stream media to find the answers. I hope some blogger looks into it. Maybe we can find out if the story is true or not.
I know we will never find out from the main stream media.

My guess is it's real.
People are better than the Lefties want to think, most of them, anyway.

Seems to me like it's media all the way down.
The newspaper which first reported the story issued a retraction that it couldn't verify the story. So it may be false, it may be true, but the paper who first reported it didn't do its job.
BTW the Muslim girl who claimed she was assaulted by Trump supporters lied and is being charged for a false report.

I called and got someone in India who took the information but was no help at all.
Then I emailed and told the story.
They just now wrote back saying they'll refund the replacement amount. (That was higher by $6.50)
I would not have done that had you not recommended it, so you saved me nearly $50.00.

Chip, I have found Amazon, Costco and other on line retailers are usually pretty good at replacing items that don't make it, no questions asked.

It is possible it can't be verified because the Hospitals cannot disclose any medical histories (HIPPA) and if Santa won't disclose the family, there is no way to tell if it is true.

On a non-chat matter, I requested a return label for a small planner that only cost about six dollars. I received an email saying they would refund the money, but I could just keep it. So I just donated it to the spay/neuter thrift shop.
I ordered a cast iron 7 quart cast iron pot on a lightening deal and then Amazon told me it was out of stock and that they could not honor the deal. I complained. So they honored the deal by offering a fancy french casserole pot that was actually a lot better than the cast iron pot. Same price.
So yes, it pays to speak to Amazon.

I don't talk politics in Brooklyn anymore unless I am around the neighborhood people. I get my outlet on the internet. Otherwise I have to fly under the radar to avoid fighting with stupid people everyday. It is just not worth it.
