Rasmussen has trump backontop

The full results from Sunday night’s debate are in, and Donald Trump has come from behind to take the lead over Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports White House Watch national telephone and online survey shows Trump with 43% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Clinton’s 41%. Yesterday, Clinton still held a four-point 43% to 39% lead over Trump, but  that was down from five points on Tuesday and her biggest lead ever of seven points on Monday

Well, when Scott Rasmussen sold the company, he said he really didn't trust their data, so a little caution doesn't hurt.

Given the fury brought down, not only from the debates, but "Willie is a rapist" and WikiLeaks, on the Trump campaign, I do think they're doing better than we know.

And I do think the worst is yet to come for the Ozark Mafia.

If, however, Ras' data is right, Trump has a quarter of the black vote.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Yeah, right.

Polls taken post-groping victim news or pre-groping victim news?

He's toast. He paraded around three alleged victims of Clinton's crimes. He can't now get to say that these alleged victims are vicious horrible liars, just because they direct the allegation at him instead of at Clinton.

Sorry, kids. It looks like it's over. A better storyline couldn't have been written by Hollywood. Or come to think of it, I have little doubt that Hollywood was in with the media all this time as they collected stories, and leaded them strategically at all the right moments to twist in the knife further. First leak the Billy Bush videotape less than a month out. Get him to deny that it was anything more than "just talk" at the debate. And then get two victims to tell their story and the Times to throw that one out there less than a week later, just as he may have reason to believe that he can get over it.

Battered and bruised, man. Battered and bruised. One after the other. Well, it was good while it lasted.

Try again.

First of all, we know the polls are phony; second, as the picture said, if American women are "horrified" at the thought of Trump saying, "Pussy", who bought 80 million copies of "50 Shades Of Gray"?

I knew it was a little too good to be true that Fitmo was against Frumpty.

I knew it was a little too good to expect that Fedutcher would be against Fgroping.

Lol. Phony polls. Please. You guys are the ones who believe online instant clickbait "polls".

Try again with the whole 50 shades or language bit actually being the point here. You've got one standard for Bill Clinton, another for Donald Trump. So go think that groping's not a big deal. The people are kind of way more anti-groping than they're pro-Hillary. I realize that's a problem for you, but it's reality. And it makes sense. Some people, most people, live for more than just politics, ed. It seems you're not one of them.

edutcher said...

Bull.

Trump was talking, not doing, but Rit, of course, subscribes to the idea it's still 1850.

And that this little revelation is a deal-breaker. And he's the one who says we believe the online polls. I, for one, have always noted my caution at taking them seriously, but he needs something to cling to.

Too bad he doesn't get out into the real world, away from his gated community, and see women use that kind of language as much as men.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

Ah.

So you believe Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broadrick and Paula Jones but not Jessica Leeds and Rachel Crooks.

You've just been called out as a poseur who would believe the tactics against Clinton are legitimate, but not the accusations against Trump.

Talk about a "gated community." You've just declared that someone who lives in a luxury high-rise with HIS name on it in gold plating, who wrote off $900 million plus and claims to be a billionaire, to be above the law, above scrutiny, above what he accuses not only his opponent, but his opponent's husband of!

You are a total retard. Go join Trump in your tears as you lament a fellow blue collar wanna-be sexual harasser of just being too far ahead of his time for anyone to appreciate.

Hilarious. If a wild dog ran against Clinton you'd absolve him of the charge of humping people's legs. Why not? It's something you can relate to. LOL.

You are an embarrassment to principled Trump supporters. Unless there never were any, after all.

LOSER.

Ritmo is blowing smoke, as always.

Nobody's accused Trump of anything. He talked about women, he didn't do anything to anybody, so we're not in the realm of Willie's transgressions.

Kind of important distinction. Of course, Ritmo doesn't make them so he's always several steps behind.

Which is why he's guilty of the same name-calling and stereotyping as his lady love.

Ed's just prepping for the inevitable back-biting he'll throw at progressives, Republicans and vegetarians once Trump loses 63% - ~30%. It's everyone else's fault for not presuming an impulsive groper would win public opinion.

I could defend Trump better than you can. But not when I actually know about who claimed he groped them. You're very lucky that you didn't know about that. One more day in your "gated community" than the rest of us got to have.

Bleach Drinkers Curing Coronavirus Together said...

But as it stands now, this is bad. For him. Very bad.

I am thinking more like 55% - 30% - 15% (Johnson and Stein's take). Course, that doesn't matter. Electoral votes might be much more skewed.

We are hoping Trump unplugged/unleashed will take it to Clinton and carry the next 25 days. But we are realistic because if Trump hasn't been able to do it so far, what does he have going forward to show himself as the preferred alternative?

edutcher said...

Yes, someone is very slow on the news.

The concert where the one woman says she was grabbed - never happened. Suddenly, after Trump cleaned Frumpty's clock and the Bushes leak the tape, all these accusers materialize.

Considering this seems to be the new way the Lefties destroy somebody - Ailes, Cosby, Herman Cain - doubtless Ritmo will stand up for it. I have a feeling these babes are going to be investigated and, if the one is representative, they're all going to be exposed.

Too bad. Ritmo was so hoping his queen would become empress.

I certainly would like to see them interviewed. And Trump has as much right to ignore/deny them as Hillary and Bill ignore/deny his accusers. Let's see them so that we can decide. I would only stipulate that if the interview is high level and professional that the same due be given to Clinton's accusers. Right now I'm of the mind that the alphabet networks will only air Trump's accusers. We shall see.

What I'm most looking forward to is still unreleased videos.

Not the case with Trump's. Ritmo wants to sit on his moral high horse here, but it ain't gonna happen. The fact all this happens when the media has tried to keep the tape thing going is just way too coincidental. Add a couple of ulterior motives and it gets very hard for them to be believable.

Broaddrick's and Willey's stories were credible. These are at best he said-she said, but the fact we have people whose stories can be doubted because of their motives makes it hard to buy what they say.

I don't know. She can say what she wants. Anyway, these weren't rape accusers but groping accusers. What Hillary says doesn't matter (except maybe to ed). The standard is sex crime allegation against sex crime allegation. Trump paraded around Willey, Jones and Broadrick as supporters to use against Clinton. Chickenlittle -

The trouble is that the people who were willfully blind about Obama before the election and supported him, all thought, and still think, that they are far more intelligent that those who opposed Obama. Their self image depends upon perceived intellectual superiority, and it will be extremely difficult for them to admit to themselves that they were wrong.

The best chance it to give these people an excuse - "I was misled by the media" is the best option here. This is one of the reasons I think that the Breitbart assault on the mainstream media is so dangerous to Obama.

The most promising thing about Trumpis his tenacity, but he also is a lot like Arnold in that he does not have a real ideology of small government, and has a lot of liberal tendencies and relationships. Arnold's betrayal destroyed all hope for California.

The problem with Trump's sexual abuse is that he is on tape admitting it and bragging about it. That's a huge difference. It takes away the plausibility of it being just a misunderstanding or partisan exaggeration, which is what allows people to tell themselves it's not really what the guy is about. I'm working on a post about Hillary's own gender gap. Recent polling and statistics are hard to find. Any help is appreciated in advance. Especially, why does Hillary have a gender gap?

bagoh20 said...

" Especially, why does Hillary have a gender gap?"

She's not hot, and she's a lying, cheating bitch.

I think some of it is sexism both ways. Women, want a woman to win, and men fear it - both just on gender affiliation alone. Women imagine a woman would understand their needs better, and men expect she would not care about the problems men face. Hillary has even campaigned on that implicit promise. Also, lets face it, if Trump looked like Brad Pitt, women would be much more forgiving, and if Hillary looked like Melania, we would be too.

Men and women both distrust the opposite sex. We all have been disappointed and betrayed by at least one of them at some point in our lives - often painfully, and it sticks with you.

Hillary isn't getting the female vote in a lock.

Hillary will get the DayTime TV watching, People magazine reading, angry 60's feminists that R&B talks about. She will get the Ellen vote. (low info voters.)

Women who pay attention to reality and know who she is and why she does what she does - we DESPISE her. We hate her more than you do, guys. She's a liar, she's a crook, she's obsessed with power and will do anything to grab it. Once she stuffs the courts with radical fascist leftwing judges, say goodbye to the final remnants of a fair and honest vote system. All valid ID to vote will be thrown out. Then the illegals who get free stuff. I don't even need to mention the supreme court. We hate her because we see the reality of what her corruption will do. It's that bad.

MamaM said...

I don't believe Hillary's lack of hotness to be a factor.

I'm also not longing or wanting a woman to win or represent me. And don't believe the men in my circle of contacts would fear a woman in leadership. All, however, would need to respect her integrity and regard her as sincere before offering their support.

I wonder if the practiced and artificial facial expressions Hillary employs set off warning triggers on a micro level that factor into willingness to trust someone who says one thing while doing another? Her blatant duplicity in word and deed is another factor. Sensory input that is incongruent (what one sees, hears and senses matching or not matching lived experience) can automatically set off a fight, flight or freeze response.

Perhaps men find Hillary viscerally repulsive on a gut level that has little to do with her hotness or ability to lead as a female and everything to do with their willingness to trust the artificial persona and duplicitous behavior she presents.

I took a shot. Let's hear someone else's explanation for the fact that men would elect Trump in a landslide, and women would do the same for Hillary. There is a clear gender bias both ways. Yes there's a contingent of women who will vote for a female, African Americans who will vote for an African American, and men who prefer a male leader, along with groups of millennials who divide themselves between wanting an old socialist full of empty promises, or someone under fifty who knows how to work a smart phone.

I don't vote with my genitals. And the men and women I am around don't appear to be voting with their genitals either. I did however, use mine to unite with a partner and produce two male heirs who appear to be voting for the candidate that resonates most with them with regard to viewpoint.

As for punching the buttons with Mr Happy, that's so cute, I can hardly stop thinking about ways to use my tits or mighty vagina to influence an election. Come to think about it, that's just what I did in devoting myself to raising two thoughtful, taxpaying citizens who don't feel compelled to vote with their genitals.

Its quite simple, there are more low information, stupid (politically) women then there are men. They're easily manipulated by the MSM, know little of economics, history, or political science, and are afraid of any change to the status quo.

Look at "The View" their audience is almost entirely female, and almost no man can watch the show for more than 5 minutes without running from the TV set in terror. Why? Because the show is so incredibly dumb. Yet large numbers of brain dead females love it. And they vote.
