Is Megyn Kelly obsessed with sex and cheating?
You've probably seen the clips of Newt Gingrich handing it to her. Link
That got me to wondering about Kelly the person. Sanctimony. So I googled "Megyn Kelly first husband" -- lo and behold, her first husband is not happy about her implying that he cheated on her -- on the air!
EXCLUSIVE: 'I wanted a wife... so did she'. Ex-husband of Megyn Kelly speaks out about his marriage to the FOX News star and reveals he didn't CHEAT on her - and it 'bugged' him that she hinted he did on air

I listened to the hackerview.
Every time she said "We here at the Kelly File.."
I wanted to push her out a window.
Leave Kelly Aloooooooooooone!
The whole thing is a test. Did Kelly do good, or did Newt?
Seems to me both were admitting they had nothing important to say about the Presidency, but I enjoy watching Kelly doing that more that I do Newt. You fags might differ.
Kelly is doing quite well, and by this time next year she will be Fox's top face, and maybe even top pay. What? You prefer to stare at O'Reilly for an hour? Hannity? We know what he's gonna say verbatim before he even comes on. He's the Right's Maddow.
Roger Ailes just has to sit it out a little longer. He will team up with Steve Bannon of Breitbart and Jared Kushner who is Ivanka's husband and publisher of the NY Observer. They will set up a new network even if Trump is not involved. There is a big opening for a new populist news network that would steal FOX's core audience and maybe even add some of Bernie's bro's if they attack Wall Street enough. Watch and see.
FOX is going to go the way of the NFL. They both are like a rotting tree. Looks formidable but a strong wind will blow them over and shatter them into a million fragments.
Kelly will be working for CNN within a year.
I wouldn't be surprised.

If she were unique, that might be something, but all the nets and news channels have infobabes like here.
Fox is dead. Watch the ratings after the election. They'll just be one of the crowd.
But, as Troop notes, if a new Conservative/Alt-right network - not channel, but network - arises, it will take it from all of them.
Including Ms Megyn.
I enjoyed watching Newt trump Megyn who came across as defiant and smarmy, with a vibration of self righteous anger and judgment verging on contempt.
I don't find her scorn attractive.
Kelly is second in ratings only to O'Reilly. In fact, she is the second highest rated cable news show anywhere, and she just started. She already gets $10M/yr. O'Reilly gets $20M. She is very close with the Murdocks, and her contract comes up summer 2017. And she wants me to call her.

@Bags: All I can say in retort is that alphabet cable news ratings--along with NFL viewership -- is changing rapidly. Best not to make bold forecasts. I think it's safe to say that Megyn has lost more fans than she's gained lately. Hell, Maddow has her beat for the first time.
Getting back to my post, it seems obvious that Kelly -- like Adele -- never got over someone and projects it onto the world -- mostly to make a buck. She's taking something out on Donald Trump and perhaps alienating men (her natural ally) at the same time.
OK, I finally worked up the courage to call Meg back. Newt is right. All the woman cares about is sex, sex, sex. I had to cut it short. She was scaring me.
I'm listening to L.A. talk radio (Tim Conway, Jr. show), which I love. They are savaging my girl. They hate her, but where they gonna go, MSNBC. Oh, please. Don't make me get Maddow to switch teams, cause I'll do it.
Best not to make bold forecasts.
Note that my 9:50 is a bold forecast. But I'm not saying she'll leave broadcast journalism -- just that she'll switch teams. She wants the "integrity" that Jake Tapper has.
$20 million is a lot of "integrity". And next year you get even more integrity.
Can you believe WE pay these people that kind of money for that work. The hated ones get as much as the loved ones. It just depends who you ask.
This Kelly/Gingrich thing is very polar. People are either saying she shut him down, or he nailed her. Few see it like me, as the huge distraction they were both working for a paycheck. So who is right?
Few see it like me, as the huge distraction they were both working for a paycheck
I suspected that both were getting paid off and that the views they expressed were no their own. Thanks for confirming.
It's not polar bags. It's tribal.
Whatever. Meanwhile, we've paid off our debts and gone to half-cash in our retirement funds quite recently and absolutely strategically. Day by day, we will be monitoring the situation, because, for us, there is no casual, comfortable, good outcome to this election. Clear-eyed, we know that we will be the ones whose balls are going to be at least squeezed, if not crushed, to the mats.
Lemme just ask y'all: How many of you have actually DONE what you've been advocating over the past at least 15 years (if not 30)?
It's a good question and a reasonable one.
Lemme just ask y'all: How many of you have actually DONE what you've been advocating over the past at least 15 years (if not 30)?
Paid off 15 y mortgage a couple months ago. Does that count?
I've commented before on Megyn Kelly's deposition skills. She did her best to undermine and undo Donald Trump this election season. I don't recall her ever -- just once -- using those same skills to question Hillary Clinton. Perhaps it's because Hillary never granted her access. But, still not a whimper or whine from America's beloved Newsbabe on that point either. In just two weeks it will be too late for Megyn Kelly to atone for that career of neglect.
Paid off 15 y mortgage a couple months ago. Does that count?
Yes. But not as much as being a home-schooler, for example--did I miss the part where you've given extra points to people who managed to do that sort of thing in a context other than using them politically? Again, for example.
Also, like all of y'all, we have, um, some weapons, too. It's just that we're not insecure, truculent assholes about that, which is exactly as it ought be.
From what I can tell, y'all just want to kill the likes of us. It's weird, because, supposedly, we're supposed to be exactly of the sort of folks you care about. Yet, of course, you don't. So, here's the question: After you destroy the likes of me and mine, who will be left to subsidize you and yours? The wealthy won't.
rcommanutz - that is none of your Goddamned business, but I have not had any indebtedness this century.
Sadly, the government is a heavily armed rent seeking organization and they demand that I pay them for the continued use of my property. So I pay my taxes and at the same time I laugh at your idiocy and moronic assertions. You really need help.
singing joyously that Fox is dead is like shooting your leg off and screaming - yay my leg!
cable news (CNN, Fox, MSNBC et al..) they still do not capture the viewing audience of the regular alphabets.
Yes - the regular alphabets are dying a little, but just a little. They still dominate.
I agree with Chick - She's going to CNN. Not good for Fox.
Trump made a mistake turning her into an enemy.
Any man interested in celebrity gossip ought to get his testosterone levels checked.
Screw Fox! We have Drudge, The National Enquirer and Breitbart.
"You have to give it up to Drudge, The Enquirer and Breitbart for informing GOP voters that Ted Cruz is a Canadian and his dad JFK's assassin."
Back to the interview - After hearing it on the radio, Megyn came off as the loser.
No quite but sort of like this.
TV is undergoing a transformation for many reasons. The first sign of the change came about 25 or so years ago. It was the graphics on the screen. I like to watch games from the past. I don't live in the past like some, but do respect it and like to visit it again on occasion. I was watching the 1985 World I-70 Series between KC and StL. There were no graphics on the screen. The graphics then crept in as time progressed. First, the score. Then the count and outs. Then the innings, then it got crazy w/ pitch count, speed of the pitch, the crawl on the bottom of the screen, the batters stats, I could go on. The latest is the motherfucking exit velocity of the ball leaving the park. IT'S FUCKING INSANE!
The transformation is not relegated to sports. News has the same amount of clutter graphics. The internet is the reason for this. Listen folks, we are not the demographic that TV is seeking. We are old. That said, there is an untapped niche for older people, liberal or conservative, news..sports..entertainment. I'm waiting for someone to tap it. If I had money or ambition, I would give it a shot.
I haven't watch Kelly since she started looking like a $2 hooker and then later like a dominatrix lesbian. She is smarmy and so completely full of herself that I want to punch her smug face. I haven't actually watched Fox News other than during the day IF there is some breaking news (train wreck type of event) and then only for a few minutes, because they constantly repeat themselves and I don't want their opinions. I'm like Jack Webb....just the facts please.
O'Reilly, Hannity and Sheppard Smith can all disappear and I wouldn't be sorry.
We have lately turned to Fox Business for the economic news and the broader picture. Cavuto, Charles Payne, and even Dobbs (when he doesn't have his Trump cheerleader outfit and pom poms going) are good sources of information. They have a lot of very good contributors and analysts. Their guests K.T McFarland in particular give you an educated international overview. Fox Business is excellent.
Try Fox Business.
Meygn Kelly is a narcissist. Every show turns out to be somehow all about HER instead of the news or information.
Other than that, I get my "news" from the internet and various websites...mostly financial oriented. And of course Reddit for the cute puppies and kittens as a palate cleanser after the swamp.
April @ 9:20
OMG....>Sally from Third Rock!!!! That was/still is one of my favorite shows. We are currently watching it on Netflix for a good laugh. That was back when people could be funny and totally totally not politically correct.
BTW: we are now watching the Detectorists based on your recommendation. It is strangely entertaining and funny. We can't believe we are watching a show about a metal detector club. I love the music.
Detectorists is quietly addicting. Best part ======> NO laugh track!
(hmmm I missed most of "third rock" - I'll have to check it out. thanks-)
Narcissistic personality disorder is strong inside the dominate media elite.
rcommal How many of you have actually DONE what you've been advocating over the past at least 15 years (if not 30)?.......We've paid off our debts and gone to half-cash in our retirement funds quite recently and absolutely strategically. Excellent strategy. Interest rates are artificially low and when they do go up (a lot!) then the stock market, which right now is the only game in town for appreciation that the ordinary person can use, will tank and your stock based investments will lose value. If you are in bonds, I would also suggest removing yourself from that time bomb.
We keep cash as well outside of the banks due to the threat of negative interest rates or the potential of restrictions on the withdrawal of cash from your accounts. Cash should also be primarily in smaller bills, $50, $20. Hundred dollar bills, eventually, will be very suspect to use in large quantities.
Day by day, we will be monitoring the situation, because, for us, there is no casual, comfortable, good outcome to this election. Clear-eyed, we know that we will be the ones whose balls are going to be at least squeezed, if not crushed, to the mats.
We are prepared to be squeezed as well and do not see any good outcome of this election, especially if Hillary and her corrupt machine continue to control the economy and rule policy. Keeping our head below the foxhole. Stocking up on necessities. Planning for the worst. We are self sufficient if push comes to shove. I don't hope for it, but I do believe that it is going to be a very very bumpy ride.
Lemme just ask y'all: How many of you have actually DONE what you've been advocating over the past at least 15 years (if not 30)?
What have we been advocating? Can you be more clear?
Another thumbs up for Detectorists. Will catch third episode tonight.
excellent!
"What have we been advocating?"
Birth control, and yes, I'm doing my part.
I was out of line again - there is no reason for me to reply to rcommal, ever. It was a bad morning, and as always, that is no excuse. I really need to work on doing better.
If you are in bonds, I would also suggest removing yourself from that time bomb.
Thanks, DBQ (sincerely: I do believe that you and I share a very similar investment approach and philos0phy, all the way around, and not just in terms of money and how to use, care for, and manage it for the longer term.). We ran away from bonds a while ago, so that's not something with which we've had to contend right now, nor with which we will have to contend going forward.
Thanks be. : )
