Attorney General Loretta Lynch is declining to comply with an investigation by leading members of Congress about the Obama administration’s secret efforts to send Iran $1.7 billion in cash earlier this year, prompting accusations that Lynch has “pleaded the Fifth” Amendment to avoid incriminating herself over these payments, according to lawmakers and communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

If there was anything in that article about her being in contempt of Congress I didn't see it.
Grandstanding, then.
Lynch has already testified that only grandkids and golf were discussed, and that pallet in the back of the plane was just a big birthday cake.
Don't give up hope! It IS possible to JAIL Democrat politicians!
Now if only we can threaten surrogates with this...
It just keeps getting better, doesn't it?
It's my understanding that Kane's defense was more-or-less that she was being framed by an "old boys network." Seems to me it's tough to make that work if you don't take the stand to swear you never did it. Hail Mary pass, I guess. 10 to 23 gets her a county sentence. I assume that's within the sentencing guidelines. I don't see how denying her request for house arrest -- which would have been leniency within the judge's discretion -- could be reversible error. Her appeal will be a waste of money. Maybe her kids already have more than they can use.
