a most excellent rant, by Mike Bishop

Mike's rant is filled with sweary words, and I mean filled. And that's why I love it so. But it might be too much for your tender eyeballs. Mike encapsulates through swears the Trump phenomena. The point that he drives is that Trump already won this election by ripping apart the Republican party and by exposing the Democrat party for the sick vermin they are. To say that Trump pulled back the curtain and shined a light on the sausage factory of Washington politics is to understate the success that Trump already achieved by a factor of thousands, stated mathematically it would be by powers, a number expressed in shorthand with more numbers at the top right corner like this:
93000.

And the comments are along the same line. I notice Bill Quick pingback from Daily Pundit there too.

Here at Outlander Systems blog.

He lays it on thickly and uninhibitedly, and he doesn't spare betrayed conservative voters either. Like this:
So for all you, “non-socialist“, “non-politically-correct” folks out there, why would you continue to not only reward failure, but continue to show up, and give support to the party that betrays you time, after time, after time?
You’re like a bunch of bitchy battered spouses.
A fucking meateater shows up to kick your abusive husband’s ass, and you go full blown Stockholm.
Ha ha ha.

Recommended. For its tone captures the tone of Trump supporter's thoughts and motivations if not their constrained speech or behavior. They're conservative, after all, but now they're quite cross and expressing themselves. It explains very well the huge crowds that Trump attracts and their high level of enthusiasm, and it explains the extreme nervous edginess of the Democrat party operators that they abandon all pretense of objectivity and prattle like battery chickens.

Incidentally, today I received in email an invitation to reserve tickets to a Trump Rally in Colorado Springs on Tuesday. It says, "get your tickets here."

I didn't even know they issue tickets. Why would people be waiting outside? Do they all just show up? I don't understand this.

The email also says: Please limit personal items and arrive early to expedite entrance into the venue - please note, NO homemade signs, banners, professional cameras with a detachable lens, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, back packs or large bags will be permitted into the venue.

Whaaaat? That takes all the fun out of it. Honestly what have they got against SLRs? Pfffft.

So there's that.

And now something else. This is a two-part deal here.

In the sidebar of Outlander Systems the uppermost most recent post is titled Sneakyleaks. It's an item about how Democrat party is fighting against anti-Hiilay memes online. A bit shocked by the formation of pages and sites on Facebook and Twitter and Reddit with such names and titles as "Stop Hillary in 2016," and "Americans against Hillary Clinton," and hashtags like #NeverHillary, and #NeverClinton, and #CrookedHillary, they've taken up the use NSA computer programs that identify meme creating informal non-leaders, get their IPOs and infect their computers to mess them up and slow them down, as well, learn how to identify targets for their army of paid trolls. That is, computer warfare using using NSA technology. Mike Bishop writes:
If the allegations are true, the level of corruption is awe-inspiring.
I found that intriguing so I pursued it.

He posts this exchange. It's unclear to me if the Brock in the message exchange is the Media Matters Brock, but I think that it is. Here is the large version of the page with red lines all over it pointing to who says what to whom in message exchanges that Mike Bishop posted. It is intriguing to say the least. Too large a display to show here. Apparently they're infecting computers with a program called "Fox Acid." I'm guessing that going to a page with that cartoon will then infect the computers, but I'm not certain.

We learn, they're concerned about the legality of what they are doing. One person says, "This is 18-2381 stuff, isn't it?" A red line is drawn to a law "18 U.S. Code § 2381 Treason." With a description of treasonous activities.

Amusingly, another link on the computer virus for election warfare page goes to Wikileaks titled "CTR are "Nerd Virgins who never see the sun." CTR stands for Brock's media group, Correct The Record, and the nerd virgins are his employees crammed into an open press room type space. The email seem innocuous enough to me. They want their candidate to win and they'e discussing the political landscape in the early days of Iowa caucus before Hillary won. They're concerned about what Republicans will talk about and how Hillary should be prepared. This is former White House advisor Paul Begala characterizing Brock's employees.
Correct the Record’s staff (18 and counting) is crammed into a newsroom-style bullpen in the back corner of the offices of American Bridge 21st Century, Brock’s Super-PAC. “They’re always there; they’re always working around the clock,” former Clinton White House adviser Paul Begala says of the crew. “I always tease David that he finds all of these nerd virgins and locks them away in a vault where they never see sunlight or have a drink or get laid. But God Bless them!”
Ha ha ha. How rude! A fun read all around.

Now this digresses way off the subject of hateful spirited politics.

We also learn through these Wikileaks links on Outlander Systems that after discussing their shenanigans and realizing they're to be stuck in their newsroom-style bullpen and working late that Brock's cabal of sunless virgin nerds are all rather sick of We The People Pizza all the time.

How sad.

No, really, that makes me sad. For it is written somewhere in a big fat book that nerds do not live by pizza alone but by the varied words of informed nutritionists. Or something. (Tonight I ate an artichoke. Now there's an overrated thistle for you. So much work, so much messy pile of leaves, for so little satisfaction. I feel stupid every time I bother with one of those things.)

So I had to look, to compare We The People Pizzas at 305 Pennsylvania Avenue with my own favorite Denver Pizza Company a few blocks away, that is not a fancy schmancy place nor headed by a top chef, just a small hipster type repurposed onetime row house and run by regular people. And I must say, Denver Pizza Company's pizzas compare quite favorably and are more imaginative. While the cost is the same. Although, come to think of it, they're both located in capital cities. So there.

So there you have it. Weirdly compulsive and hateful politics, psychotic actually, illegal besides, even treasonous, to hysterically abusive epithets for co-warriers fighting the for the same cause, to comparative pizzas in capital cities.

My wife has been making these pizzas, lately, using these little bitty tomatoes from our garden and when you bite into it the tomatoes squirt out all over the place. She cuts them in half, but still, the quantity and range of the spatter is truly impressive.

I just came from a website where they are discussing what two beers would they select to be stuck with the rest of their lives. The answers are revealing. I read enough to become dismissive because they were all selecting high ABV, exotic beers.

These are not sensible people.

It's the opposite. Trump has infected people with lunacy and delusion.

GOP is imperfect. Burning it down when Hillary is the candidate on the other side?

btw - an article on what the DNC press and Hannity (the DNC press) won't tell you.

The GOP Has Been Bad. But Not as Bad as You Think

All Trump did was hand this thing to the Clinton Crime Family. No amount of whining and blaming will change it.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

This guy gets it:

"The number of Americans who might possibly be persuaded to vote for Trump -- as a means of stopping Clinton, at least -- is overwhelmed by the number who will never allow Trump to become president. This fact will be in evidence on the night of Wednesday, Nov. 8, when the election is called shortly after the polls have closed and Trump has been crushed, taking down the Senate, the Supreme Court -- and possibly the House as well Arizona and Georgia et al. -- with him.
Perhaps they wished to give the establishment the middle finger. But whatever the reason, Republican primary voters, given the choice of several attractive candidates, opted instead to nominate an imbecilic buffoon. And by that act they withdrew from the field and forfeited the contest. Nothing remains for us to decide; the decision has already been taken.
I myself didn't want to run up the white flag and allow that corrupt hag to become president. Those of you who backed the imbecilic buffoon decided that for us. We should now be on the verge of victory and of taking our country back. Clinton could have been vanquished. But you wanted instead to vent your frustration and rage. After all, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan haven't performed as if they were Genghis Khan.
So here we are, awaiting a defeat from which we and our country will not recover. I hope your vote for the buffoon was at least cathartic."

And the TX poll is not. We know how crooked the polls are, thanks to Ned Silver and his memo to Monmouth.

BTW linking an NRO article on the Whigs not being all bad is a joke. NRO is the heart of NeverTrump.

I see the Bluebird of Happiness still buys the Cruzzer propaganda without question.

PS I'm forever getting emails about Trump/Pence appearances in OH, but always at the other end of the state.

Hillary will be elected by millions of "nice" people, mainly women but many soft men as well, who think they're safe and will continue to be safe no matter what. Call them the supremely coddled. They have never known what it is to be precarious, either economically, socially or politically and they lack the imagination to see the cliff as we ALL approach it. Althouse is a glaring example of the type.

Last I heard, the votes hadn't been cast, but it's amusing to see the "Willie is a rapist" thing at Frumpty rallies is morphing into "Justice for Danney Williams" thing.

Black people wanting reparations from the Ozark Mafia Global Slush Fund. I think we can all get behind that.

And the thought from Surber on why the NeverTrumpers really would be losing right about now, We can wring hands over the Wikileaks of damning evidence that the Clintons are corrupt, but no one cares. Blathering on about how horrible she is wastes time. That's factored in by an electorate jaded by massive corruption.

But it's good to know the Beast will lose only because of The Donald.

Chip, that was a great rant by Mike, thank you for posting it. Would that it were more widely read. Also, a great speech by Trump yesterday in Florida. That's the type of speech he should be making in nationwide, live, ad buys. Not just in 'relatively' small rallies. No moderators, no having to fend off BS from an opponent, just a straight up, unfiltered by the MSM, talk to the American people. FDR style so to speak. A few half-hours of such would sway many I feel.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, the debates are what gets seen. A paid half-hour would probably be avoided like the plague, as people have seen so many ads (IMHO).

But you're right about doing them w/o moderators. The whole idea has been so discredited, there just might be a change next time.

April. I think you miss the entire point of this rant. Burning it down doesn't mean just the GOP. Burning it down means the entire corrupt, elitist, condescending, oppressive abortion that our government has become. Right now the people are in a 'slow burn' status.

He is right. It isn't about Trump. Trump just happens to be the symbol right now of the slow burn that is smoldering. It is about the people versus the elites. If they cheat this election (hooo haah big surprise), continue with this blatant disrespect of the depolorables and blatant manipulation of the process......and Trump loses.....another figure head will emerge and trust me...you are going to like that person even less than Trump.

We are on the edge of a very dangerous precipice right now. The fork in the road approaches. Choose wisely. A wildfire could be imminent.

Trump's pro-Clinton comments are recent history compared to his "pussy grabbing" comments. Trump was pissed that Obama didn't pick her as his VP.

The point is, anyone who ever sang the praises of Hillary, should be disqualified.

Trump has lauded the Clintons even more than John McCain.

The only thing burning down is the opposition to the Dems. When it's over, that will be clear. Our house will be in ashes, and theirs in power, stronger than ever. Trumpism has been like Blacks in inner cities burning their own neighborhoods down to send a message. The message in both cases is that the burners are irresponsible, destructive, and myopic, willing to break things out of emotional butt hurt. Not a winning strategy for either group.

I have been on vacation the past two weeks. Only occasionally checking in to internet. Not catching any TV at all. Not even Youtube recaps. Nothing has changed.

The same two people dominate thread after thread with their anti-Trump propaganda. It is hopeless. It has always been hopeless. This poll or that poll means it is over. The words of Nevertrumpers are gold and those of honest people who support Trump are delusions. They cry that they are being abused by those of us who sincerely support Donald Trump and his pro American agenda. While they never stop calling us dupes, marks, cult members and fools.

They claim that some imaginary Republican would have beat Hillary easily. That the corrupt media would some how not attack them just as viciously as they did Trump and Romney and McCain. That a rigid and foolish ideologue like Ted Cruz would be better when even his poor wife would rather walk out into traffic to get away from him. That an effete closet case foam boy like Little Marco would fight the power arrayed against him in an effective way. That the noxious John Kasich would parley his supine loyalty to the duopoly into an effective response to the problems that plauge the nation. You people disgust me. Your pretense that you oppose Hillary is laughable. Like Paul Ryan and John Kasich and George Will and the rest of the Washington Generals you pretend that Hillary's corruption means you would vote for anyone but her. Well you words and actions ring false. You disgust me.

DBQ is absolutely right. Trump is not the problem. He is just the embodiment of the discontent of the deplorables. The Tea Party was the First Gentle response. Sarah Palin was the next more spirited manifestation. Trump is the asshole crude New York reaction. What will come next will be much more slick and deadly. It is building to critical mass. The next step in the process will be very dangerous.

rcocean said...

If Rubio/Jeb/Cruz/Whoever had been better than Trump they would've beaten Trump in the primary.

Jeb was "low energy" - he hasn't held political office since 2008 and he didn't set the world on fire when he was Florida Governor. Why the hell was he running for President? Even he couldn't say, except that Bushes always run for President.

Cruz would have been CRUCIFIED by the MSM. All the Republican SenatorsRui and Congressman stabbing trump in the back would have done the same to Cruz. April and Bags would be talking about how Cruz is a "right-wing extremist" - McCain would be telling the WaPo that Cruz is a "whacko-bird", and every liberal would be attacking him for being some sort of weirdo/religious right character who everyone hates.

Rubio was a nice, harmless little man, who got nominated and elected as Florida Senator because the Republicans want a Hispanic. The MSM would've dug up dirt and attacked him relentlessly and Rubio would've responded with nothing, just like he responded to Trump with nothing.

I tired of the RINOs, the moderates, the establishment, people like Bags and April. You've given us 4 losers in the last 6 POTUS elections. We had only one Republican winner in the last 24 years and that's Bush II and he was a disaster for conservatives and the country. He conserved NOTHING, except tax cuts for the rich. He left office as the most unpopular president ever. And all the RINOS and moderates can tell us is NEVERTRUMP.

rcocean said...

As I've written before, the USA seems morphing into California. We've almost reached the tipping point. The national Republican party is acting just like the Calf Republican party did in the 1990s. The same 'moderate' 'establishment' National figures are behaving just like the Calf. Republican figures did.

The Cali Repub establishment didn't want to fight illegal immigration. They were against Prop 187. They didn't want to fight the Democrats. They wanted to be "moderate" and win those immigrants who were "natural conservatives".

End result: The Republican party in Cali is DEAD. Its one party rule. The Democrats can do what they wish. Its no different than Massachusetts or NYC.

Trump's pro-Ozark comments go back to her time in the Senate and he was a businessman trying very hard not to puick a fight with a petulant, vengeful harpy..

So she's either lying or really is that delusional - she takes NRO at their word.

You make the call.

And, no, most Trump supporters are NOT voting Demo down ticket. A few who want to get rid of the Ryans and McCains (whom the Bluebird of Happiness thinks are OK) will do so, but they, I think, are the understandable exception.

Surber had some good thoughts on this yesterday - why hand Trump an obstructionist Congress?

But he talks and acts the way he does because he's spent a lot of his life with real people, the construction workers and contractors who made his business grow, the cooks and waitresses in the hotels and restaurants, the dealers in the casinos.

He's used to people who look him in the eye and say what they mean and always expected him to do the same. He is not Mr Board Room, he's gotten out with the real people and knows what makes them tick.

I'll tell what we need more than electronic voting for the population as a whole, or getting rid of the electoral college. I say we get rid of the Capitol building. We put all the legislators in their home office. With today's technology, they don't need a building to sit in. They can sit in individual offices, use virtual meetings, and cast their votes electronically.

Just a suggestion, because what some seem to be missing is that most of us are tired with a concentration of power among a few that have a myopic view of the United States. People that see middle America as those between the Appalachians and Sierra Nevadas, who are stupid hicks with no clue what's good for them. Look at a blue/red map by county, and you can see the problem clearly.

I don't want to burn it down, but I do want to either be left alone or if they refuse to leave me alone; then I'm going to start making their life a living hell. No more of this; Obamacare is good for you, but we exempt ourselves. You must obey laws on classified material and ITAR, but we can violate at will. You need stop driving your car and give up your AC, while we fly around the world on private jets to pick up phony awards. No more.

I don't care if Trump is harassing women. Let him start harassing the women of the Supreme Court. Let's see if Republicans and Democrats can come together to try and throw him out; because if they can, then we know they could do the same for Koskinen and others. If they still refuse to do so; then I'm for sending them more like Trump until they get the message.

Alternatively, they can shutdown this foolishness. Let the federal government meet for 6 months a year. Send the representatives home. Put the K-Street guys on unemployment. Fire anybody whose job is Director for Diversity. Do those things; and I'll give you someone other than Trump.

My rant, for those who don't get the previous rant.
