"4Chan users put together a list of Top OFA and DNC Donors."
I'm a woke fella. I knew that ambassadorships to tiny countries were routinely given to donors. But to France? To Japan? To the EU? Aren't there qualified people they could appoint? It reads like a menu: France will cost you a bit more than Trinidad & Tobago.

Does this fall into things that may not be outright illegal but look unsavory?
And it all about crossing an imaginary ethical line that is never set in stone?
If I'm making sense?
I want her entire campaign to collapse. Sadly, the media and the Obamas are pulling out all the stops to keep her afloat.
It's giving stuff to rich idiots that ought to go to the professional diplomats that raises eyebrows.

Well, Franklin Roosevelt gave the ambassadorship to Britain to Joe Kennedy and we know what a mistake that was. It's not that it was done, it's the blatant pay to play aspect and the scale.
PS What does anybody expect the Demos would do when they're looking at the national campaign going down the drain?
Battleground states are either close or Trump is going ahead.
LAT has Trump up 4.7 and they seem to presage what the others show (YMMV). Yeah, they're scared.
Wonder how much Chris Steven paid for the privilege of being dispensable.
Wonder how much our ambassador to the Phillipines paid for the privilege of being triggered? Duterte insulted him with a homophobic slur.
Why is this a story?
Everybody knows how this works. This is the work of duopoly and the permanent government of the crony class. What? You think George W. Bush didn't do the same thing? Don't be naive.
To the winner goes the spoils. The pigs have to feed at trough. Grow up.
There are things that are legitimately something to get outraged at and things that are just the normal course of business.
Obama has really stretched what is a permissible use of Presidential Power but selling Ambassadorships is par for the course.
I mean do you really thing Shirley Temple Black was a great freaking diplomat? Get real.
A lot of people don't know that ambassadorships are for sale. I don't mind if they get mad about it. Just because there's longstanding precedent for the practice doesn't mean it shouldn't be reformed.
My favorite was, like, Carolyn Kennedy, like, as ambassador to, like Japan.
And all the Japanese were, like, yay for us, like, we got a Kennedy!
Because everyone knows, like, the Kennedys are, like, the best!. Based on, like, you know, like, their Family name. Diplomacy is, like, in their genes.
But I don't think she, like, paid.
Akshully, my favorite ones are those who paid over a million and are all, "What? Work? Are you out of your fucking mind?" Just take the money and don't mention work again. I'll try to forget you ever mentioned the idea.
Or the ones who don't speak the language or know jack about the nation other than what they learned reading the article in the airline magazine while traveling there on vacation.
People don't know the sun rises in the east and sets in the west but we don't have to worry about it now do we?
How would you like to be named ambassador to Austria, and be unable to speak Austrian?
Haha, Allen. It could only be a highly nuanced and erudite Obama appointee.
If this info were about any R- the R would be finished.
I do recommend that Trump name Hillary ambassador to Lydia. He should make that offer during the debates.
Lydia? Is there something that you know, that we don't know?
He means Lesbos.
Now there's a country named Lesbos? I should have known.
Wow, Swiss Ambassadorship is cheap.
I think email is going to be extinct soon.
