Well, of course.

An unsecured server. Idiotic policies. No scruples.

What the Hell else did anyone expect.

PS FWIW Ras agreees with Zog - 2 point race.

And the LA Times says it's back to a .6 point race.

PPS The headline says it all Democratic Senate Campaign catches Conservative infiltrator.

Is it intentional on the part of Fox to continually shift from color to black and white to color and to go from frontal view to side view to worm's eye view and on top of that to include a drum banging while Napolitano speaks in order to make it near impossible to follow his ACTUAL THOUGHTS in the general visual and aural cacophony? YES!

Doesn't really matter if she did or did not. The fix is not only in, but has been implemented. You can't very well convict her for gross negligence of classified data leading to the death of personnel, when the FBI has already claimed nobody has ever been prosecuted for gross negligence (though they have and are, but alas Comey is FOS, as even Bill Clinton has noted).

I'm really tired of the Hillary is corrupt stories coming from the Grand Ole Party, because no matter how many times they say it; they absolutely do nothing about it. Don't tell me "we held hearings", because none of them have demanded a resolution to have a special prosecutor to take on what no prosecutor would. Hell, they waited a year before even attempting to impeach Koskinen. And while they got one scalp from the VA; they sure as hell haven't fixed any of the problems in the VA or cleaned it out of all the bureaucrats feeding on the gravy train meant for our veterans.

That might leave a mark. Provided Trump makes it an issue and pursues it at the debates.

The only thing that would cause Democrats to abandon her is if she counseled a young woman not to have an abortion. Responsibility for State secrets and the death of Americans means nothing to them.

I know you will say it is nonsense, but there is this ed. I take the pessimism with a grain of salt too. The truth probably lies somewhere inbetween, but like anything it is better to assume the worse and be pleasantly surprised than the other way (remember what happened to Mitt four years ago).

The problem is where does Trump stand in the battle ground states? National polls don't matter, it is those critical states that matter. I hope you are right he is getting 14% black and greater than 30% Latino...

But if faith alone could make him win, you would push him over the top!

It is all going to come down to the debates. He either pulls ahead then or not.

I read a piece to this effect a week or more ago. Plausible.

Nick, plausible Trump is going to win or is doomed?

I do not think Trump is doomed, just he is in a position he can't afford any mistakes. It all depends on really that first debate.

Aren't the same people cooking the national polls cooking the state ones, as well?

The real issue is, how much is this a setup for the inevitable vote fraud? I'd say a lot.

Last time, it was the "miracle of Sandy" when Pissy walked on a beach with Christie.

The only way it is beaten is if enough people come out to take not only the margin of victory, but the margin of fraud.

As for mistakes, everything he does is a mistake, if you believe the media.

And the Libertarians - although I've heard Gary Johnson is "The worst Libertarian ever", so Jill Stein may still do a Ralph Nader.

Or a John Anderson.

And Perino has been one of the naysayers from the start, so, of course, she believes the polls. Would they lie? No more than the stories about Trump eyeing the option of dropping out. And, yeah, Ace was "stunned" when the polls were "right". Of course, how much did he say about all the vote fraud 4 years ago? If you know how many bogus votes you need a week before election day, it's easy to finagle the polls.

And Business Insider has been fanatically anti-Trump. As for Ace, I guess he isn't as signed up as some thought.

All you can do is keep punching. The propaganda and the Libertarians and the Whigs are all coming from the same place.

Off Breitbart (I know, Andrew never would have backed Trump...), but it jibes with Zog, which makes it interesting.

LA Times poll says Trump black support at 14%.

I guess we'll know when we start hearing what a racist Trump is.

ed, this the same BS I am hearing from you I heard about Romney and the polls. I have to assume Trump is behind (which actually makes a lot of sense given the media assault he got). You want to pretend he is winning, then sit back and do nothing. You have nothing to worry about.

There are a lot of people, low information people, who will vote Hillary out of reflex. Yes Hillary is sick and alienates people. Have you noticed how little she is staying out of the spot light. She figures Trump will do something stupid before she does. She is playing it safe. Fortunately she can only hide so long, she has to eventually come out.

I am very glad he has Ailes helping him for Debate Prep. That is huge. I hope he is smart enough to trust Ailes's advice.

I will say it flat out.

You are wrong. The last election was stolen. Vote fraud was blatant, widespread, unabashed, and backed by Eric "my people" Holder's Department of "Justice".

You may want to believe otherwise. Your Right. But, if you think you're ever going to see polls from the media saying Trump is winning big, you're out of your mind. The only way that happens is if we're a week out and Trump's lead is so big the media can't keep lying because it will make them look even sillier than they do now.

We keep having this argument, but you never want to entertain the possibility the media really is lying to you. You say you don't trust them, but you believe them without question.

Just like somebody else we know.

Have you noticed how little she is staying out of the spot light. She figures Trump will do something stupid before she does. She is playing it safe. Fortunately she can only hide so long, she has to eventually come out.

No, she is sick. You really do buy what the media says. My God, the woman looks like Hell, has coughing fits several minutes at a stretch, shows every sign of something very wrong neurologically, suddenly looks like she's been catheterized and needs pillows at her back, had a body man right at her elbow until it was noticed he wasn't Secret Service, but, no, she's fine.

Hint: Nobody campaigns for President 3 days a week unless they're sick.

Johnson didn't in '64.

Nixon didn't in '72.

Reagan didn't in '84.

Believe what you want, I know I can't change your mind. And, if Trump hired Ailes, the idea he wouldn't listen is so much foolishness.

ndspinelli said...

Evi, I meant plausible the NSA would seek payback on Hillary.

edutcher said...

Good point. It's the old pros that haven't been purged that could hand off stuff to somebody like Assange.

edutcher said...

For those who believe the media polls.

By way of Gateway from Sharyl Atkisson, latest WaPo/Disney poll samples 33% Demos, 23% Rs. He is also outperforming Romney's place 4 years ago by 16

She also notes Bloomie has Cacklepants up by only 3 in their poll.

And the last line is a killer:

But this poll is most likely to be an accurate predictor, it seems, in a race where 10% more Democrats vote than Republicans… and that remains to be seen.

RTWT, and believe what you will.

PS Funny, the skew keeps getting bigger for someone who's supposed to be winning.

nick, I would love to see it

ed, My blog posts speak for themselves. I bother to actually credit Trump when he is doing good things and slam Clinton every day. Romney actually lost last time (yes there was electoral fraud, yes Holder is a crook, but that is not why Romney lost).

ed you twist things a bit: "Believe what you want, I know I can't change your mind. And, if Trump hired Ailes, the idea he wouldn't listen is so much foolishness." First of all Trump did not hire Ailes, he is volunteering to help Trump. Second, Trump has said he is not coachable (and that certainly seemed the case for a while). I hope that is just a head fake. Ailes is probably one of the best if not the best debate coach out there.

What I love is Trump is now playing to win: another brilliant speech today, again reaching out to Blacks and addressing Louisiana. It was not typical Trump bombastic, it was planed and thought out. He keeps this up he will win.

Really.

Consider these:

59 precincts in Fluffia with 100% Barry vote, no fluffed ballots, none for anyone else - a statistical impossibility

In Wood County Ohio, 106,258 voted in a county with only 98,213 eligible voters .

In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.

The National SEAL Museum, a polling location in St. Lucie County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.

Palm Beach County, FL had a 141% voter turnout .

That's an awful lot of vote fraud and it's the tip of the iceberg.

ed you twist things a bit: "Believe what you want, I know I can't change your mind. And, if Trump hired Ailes, the idea he wouldn't listen is so much foolishness." First of all Trump did not hire Ailes, he is volunteering to help Trump. Second, Trump has said he is not coachable

Hired or volunteer (I hadn't committed the circumstances to memory), Ailes wouldn't be there unless Trump gave the go-ahead. And, frankly, I am skeptical that it's just for the debates.

What I love is Trump is now playing to win: another brilliant speech today, again reaching out to Blacks and addressing Louisiana. It was not typical Trump bombastic, it was planed and thought out. He keeps this up he will win.

"now playing to win"?

He always was.

The point is, he's going down to speak to the flood victims. Why isn't Hillary?

ed, you may be right about her being sick.

E, Drudge showed a pic of her about a year ago and commenters here (I think it was here) were saying how wife/girlfriend/whomever who all were nurses said there was something wrong.

Those spastic movements she's shown, the fact her left eye is obviously crossed, The blonde says tumor, others say stroke, post-concussion, but there's something there.

ed, I doubt Romney lost the election by fraud. But it really does not matter. I am saying Trump is behind and if he does not close the gap he loses. You say Trump is ahead but if he does not win big he loses (because they will steal the election through fraud). So either way, Trump has to do better.

He is definitely doing better. Much better.

Sorry, but those three weeks post conventions were miserable. He was not playing to win. This is a completely new Trump. I expect Trump to be Trump, but I also expect him to be disciplined on message. He is doing that.

I know the MSM will ignore these speeches, but they are honing his message going into that debate where he will face the invalid. These speeches are the answers to his debate questions and I hope he makes the same appeals to working voters (of all races) in those debates he is doing in these speeches.

What I especially LOVED is Trump asking for people's vote and promising to look out for them! Old school, but damn. And Trump is contrasting what his administration would do versus what Democrats haven't done. I am going to guess this is a lot of Roger Ailes in this message, with a heap of Kellyanne Conway.

edutcher said...

This is the time when people start paying attention, so the policy speeches. A lot of this would have been wasted even a week ago.

I'm not saying he's ahead - don't think I did, I'm saying what the second set of polls say - it's dead even.

What's illustrative is he's getting the kind of support that the pre-convention polls said were going his way - Indies, millennials, black (14% is a lot for any R), Hispanics.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

The more I listen to this the more it sounds like stuff Kellyanne Conway would say. She is pushing this and frankly this is the sort of stuff that will help Trump reach out to women and minorities. This is smart. He does not need old white guys (you are fully committed).

I am not going to say Trump is getting 14% of blacks based on one poll. I know you love that poll (I am heartened by it too) but it seems an outlier. But if he does do well with blacks, this election dynamic shifts in his favor.

And ed, a shitty couple of weeks saying things hurting you does not help (even in August). But I am glad he is saying the right things now.
