In Denver there's a public access show that has stoners hitting bongs right there on camera. When they're not discussing seriously how to maximize plant growth.

They take gigantic hits and get blasted.

And the whole time I'm sitting there thinking, "Good Lord, your poor lungs!"

Their bongs are big as didgeridoos.

A fair has prizes and all that jazz..

are we going to see ribbons for best what?

I don't know anything about pot... other than what I've seen in movies.

Did anybody tell them marijuana not only increases one's risk of lung cancer, but also (get ready, guys) testicular cancer?

A lot of men will forego their lungs, but...

It would be so cool watching the judges, taking a toke then forgetting what they're there for.
Like a Cheech and Chong flick.

I have known my share of cannabis users and boozers. NEVER saw a fistfight started by a cannabis user. Seen too many fights to count by boozers. Ed, I know your response. Everyone does.

Marijuana impedes blood flow to the brain, so, yeah, no fights.

You have to have some degree of mental acuity to take enough offense to fight.

Saw a poster on the back of bus today. Some non-profit trying to stop Marijuana "edibles" from being sold to kids.

Why? I thought Marijuana was a "fun" "Harmless" drug - so why not let kids take it.

Chromosome damage, maybe? And, sorry, that one's hideously well-documented.

Their kids end up with 2 heads.

Not to mention 2/3 of hard drug users started out on guess what.

All the stuff we heard 50 years ago turns out to be true and worse.

Ed, when it comes to drugs, evidently, you have no clue what you are talking about, believer as you appear to be in government studies. None, nada, zilch, zero. You'd be better off not commenting on these types of posts. Though, apparently, most here may be in similar straits. So I guess I'm wrong by percentage.

Though agree, it can be a chasm for some, for others a tell.

Left off last comment. Drugs, other than the asshole cartels supplying the world, are the least of our problems, really, one of the last things we should be worrying about. If I have an islamist asshole living next to me with a heroin addict on the other side I know which I'll be worried about.

Hate to tell you, sweetheart, but everything I said came out of the office of a neurologist. A very highly regarded neurologist, I may say.

So maybe it's you who has no clue. You and nd.

Or maybe it's just wishful thinking. Whistling past the graveyard, maybe?

I know all the potheads want to be able to indulge whenever they feel like it and will lie their socks off to get their way (I worked for one), but I have a feeling the country's experiment with cannabis is going to be short and unhappy.

You're right Ed, never mind. Especially, never mind.
