You know that if they find out Hillary ordered the hit, supplied the weapon, and drove the getaway car, they will say: "There is no evidence that Hillary Clinton killed anyone." And 51% of voters will say: "Yea, that's right, she didn't, so what's up with this relentless Right Wing Conspiracy? Don't they ever quit harassing her?"

Over 1200 comments at Gateway Pundit already.

Assange says the source of the emails was murdered. Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks. As a 27 year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington.

Yurpeans talk funny. Americans are exceedingly direct by comparison.

Reporter: That was just a robbery, I believe. Wasn’t it?

Julian Assange: No. There’s no finding. So… I’m suggesting that our sources take risks.

Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit: HOLY SHIT

See? Hoft is obviously American.

I'm enjoying the entire MSM going nuts and I mean NUTS about Trump suggesting the 2A people might prevent SCOUS going full on Democrat.

He was talking about the courts, talking about NRA, talking about 2A being repealed, talking about maybe the 2A people might tip the scales, in his jumbled manner as he does.

Everyone EVERYONE jumped to the conclusion Trump tooted his dog whistle to suggest someone rid him of this troublesome woman.

And he said that right after I was thinking, I wonder why he tolerates all the interruptions at his rallies. All he has to do is say, "will somebody please kick that person's ass and teach them all a lesson? Tear 'em up. I don't care." As I realized why it's better for him to do as he does and patiently bear the interruption and let it play out.

Then what does MSM do? Naturally put the worst spin to any innocent remark Trump makes. Projecting their own dog-whistle-y wishes upon him. The same way that I do. Except they're worse. They actually pull the shit they imagine him guilty of. And they pull it at every level of government possible right down to city zookeeper. We saw it with Samuel J. Wurzelbacher (Joe the Plumber) and Obama at the very beginning of his first campaign. A woman in city government took it upon herself to dox Sam W. knowing that it's illegal but she felt in her heart that she MUST act, she was compelled to act out of duty to her beloved party and the collective political aspirations of her race. in her mind

That is but one tiny example. There are example at every level of government, in every branch, in every department from IRS to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, OSHA, EPA, Federal Parks and Services, VA, even the FBI and many many more.

So yes, it's entirely within the realm of possibilities. It is not too outrageous to think. This means EVERYTHING to these people it means more to them than life itself. And they will stop at nothing.

Hillary is not to blame personally, rather, she's part and parcel of systematic corruption so pervasive the entire government can be characterized as corrupted.

Thus Trump.

I hear them going insane tonight again channel to channel, they cannot be tolerated for more than 15 seconds, and I think, good. very good, you're all quite insane and now how it shows so vividly as splayed open livid vivisection. A frog sliced open with its skin flaps pinned to the wax filled tray. That is DNC and all our favorite media dopes. What a tremendous pleasure to be alive to witness this tectonic shifting. A real-live disintegration of an entire political party (Republican) and complete restructuring of the other (Dems aren't going anywhere. Their party is required as catch basin for all American political crackpots. They'll adapt but they cannot perish to be replace with something else, like Republican party as we know it today must become something else. Something that nominally if not actually represents conservative voters. )

Here's what's interesting to me as a PI. If the info is correct, that there were no signs of a robbery, it means it was personal. Now, assuming this was an ordered hit. Normally, you would want this to look like a robbery. Have cops looking at the usual shitbirds that work in DC. But, if your intention is to send a message to others this is what happens if you leak or go to the FBI, well then message sent and received.

The Dude said...

It could be a hit, it could be random street violence so common in DC, but we will never know. Especially if it is the former.

Chip, this latest dust up is interesting. I had associates who are Democrats (reluctantly supporting Hillary) going nuts over it. I had they slowly explain exactly what Trump said. They totally botched it up. I read back to them what he actually said. They admitted that alone was not an actual threat.

Then I asked them about the Orlando shooter's dad being in VIP seats behind Hillary at the Kissimmee Florida rally. They looked depressed and stopped railing (at least for a moment) how bad Trump was.

This is all spin and media driven to crush any story that helps Trump and promote Hillary. Same play book they used with Obama and Romney.

Was Rich murdered over leaked emails? It is entirely possible. There is a lot of violent crime in DC but usually it is motivated by something. It certainly looks suspicious. Hillary had a motivation.

So I have no problem raising the question.

The Rich death could be more than leaked emails. Assange[who HATES Hillary so factor that in] claims Rich was set to go to the FBI w/ info on Clinton. The leaked emails were just a few day embarrassment. Going to the FBI means something else. Assange may push Trump to victory. Oh, I'm sorry, not that Trump needs any help!!

Here's something that would push this story. Wealthy Republicans out of the goodness of their hearts, matching the 20K reward Assange put up. All do it w/ a straight face. All do it because of the Law and Order campaign. Get that reward up to a few million. Riffing on the Carville "throw a few $'s through a trailer park" meme, throw a few million out there and sit what happens. Even if nothing happens, it creates a stir. Not that Trump needs any help mind you!!

That makes women better at neighborhood sized things and horrible at nation-sized problems.

Women voting is why the MSM is lefty. The politicians free-ride on pandering to women in the form of soap opera politics.

Lacking the women's vote, the politics would be independent of the MSM. The MSM wants women and the pols wouldn't be interested. You'd get As the World Turns and no politics.

ndspinelli said...

Complicating by women is often a form of manipulation. When I am taking a statement from a woman I need to get into a different mode than if I'm taking a statement from a man. I calmly cut through the complicating/manipulating and make it short and sweet. They don't know what hit them.

Dear corrupt left, go F yourselves said...

rhhardin said...

Only 40% of women are soap opera fans. A minority, but a big enough to swing the MSM and elections.

The 60% ought to see the benefits of denying women the vote. They vote like men anyway, so can just let men vote. Getting rid of the 40% in the voting pool ought to be worth it to the 60%.

But a smaller percentage than 60% is entirely rational about it.

(trying to get link right)

I wonder what April would make of Derrida's Choreographies interview. Read a few pages until it gets too hopelessly obscure. It pays to read into the obscurity because lines that are gems pop up from time to time.

The idea is that feminism misconstrues itself, and there's actually a feminism at the bottom that's pro female, rather than the popular one that actually wants a castrated female.

The google books link in Feminist Interpretations of Jacques Derrida is good, the link I get being here.

rhhardin said...

Soap Dish is about infighting in the cast of a soap opera. It's a romcom but amusing along the way, nice soap opera ending. It goes meta, hooking logicians in the audience.

ndspinelli said...

This is turning into a substantive conversation. Kudos. Here's a good example of just how differently men and women see the world.

When I'm investigating a fire and interviewing witnesses I learned this. No one taught me, I learned having done thousands of interviews. Time distance and color are important in what a witness saw in the early stages of a fire. I won't bore you w/ the science of why, they just are. If I ask a dude the color of the flames and smoke I invariably get "The flames were red, smoke black." From a woman, I'll get, "Well, the flames were mostly dark red but I also saw some streaks of blue near the center, the smoke was first light gray then turned to dark gray." Women are much more helpful in the color aspect. When I get to time. I ask a guy, about the time between first seeing the flames and hearing the explosion. I'll get specific times, "Well, it was maybe 20-25 seconds." From a woman, I have heard this too many times to remember, "Oh I don't know..about a minute." In most women's minds, a minute is the lowest segment of time. Distance. Fuggetaboutit! Men are good w/ distance. Anthropology determined that. We were hunters and are more spatial. Almost always when I ask a woman distance it starts w/ "I don't know distance." I then have to point to things within our view and ask them to point to something in the same ballpark of distance.

Again, this isn't from any preconceived notions. This is from me needing information and learning how to get it.

ndspinelli said...

MLB players used to be big soap opera fans before cable. They have a lot of down time during the day in hotels so they watched soaps. The KC Royals back in the 70's had a bunch of players obsessed w/ General Hospital. A few made appearances as extras when the producer learned of their love of the show.

The sad truth is if Hillary was running against Ted, Ted would be toast. Part of that is Ted, there is something about him that alienates a lot of people. But most of it would be the dishonest media twisting and slandering Ted and promoting Crooked Hillary.

And even darling Rubio, had he made it as the nominee, would have been slandered by the media. It would be different than how they are doing Trump or would have done Ted. But do it they would.

I wish a lot of these conservative pundits dog piling on Trump and saying "I told you so" had the honesty and candor to admit that is the dynamic we need to fight. Hell, it is the reason Trump (in large part) became the nominee.

rhhardin said...

Astrology is misunderstood. It's a way to patter on about something as if it's the topic and actually be doing something else entirely. A literary effect achieving what you want instead.

See Douglas Adams on this (Mostly Harmless. I think). Or the example of Vicki Hearne at work :

``Thurber's biographers like to say astounding things such as that the loss of an eye in childhood was what accounted for his genius. For instance, according to Charles S. Holmes in _The Clocks of Columbus_, ``The psychological impact of the injury was more significant than the physical ... In compensation he cultivated his already crowded fantasy life ... Some of the intense competitiveness which marked his character throughout his life obviously derived from this childhood injury and his natural desire to make up for it.'' Holmes is not the only one who talks this way, and it is a very strange way indeed to talk. It is not unusual, of course, being just a new version of the theory of the writer as a human being manque. Or, as in this case, the writer as a baseball player manque. I suppose that Thurber's brothers would also have been geniuses if only they had been in some way maimed early on. My suspicion is that if Thurber's eye troubles can be said to account for anything about his life and career, they probably account for the difficulty he had seeing, for his having submitted to five eye operations, and maybe for his habit of writing short pieces, which are less physically (not psychologically) demanding than long pieces are.

``Astrology serves as a much better candidate for the Explanation of Thurber than psychology does. Thurber was born under the sign of Sagittarius, which rules, among other things, archery. The placement of the sun is what rules a man's health, so a man born with any afflictions to the sun in Sagittarius is going to be vulnerable to health problems associated with archery. I don't have an ephemeris handy for December 8, 1894, the date of his birth, but I bet there is either an affliction of the sun to Mercury, the planet of the eyes and of sense perception in general, or else an affliction from his sun to some planet in Gemini, Pisces, or Virgo. An affliction to Virgo, however, is made fairly unlikely by the enormous intellectual and domestic pleasure Thurber got from dogs - Virgo rules animal training. But Gemini rules dogs, so that lets Gemini as a source of affliction out. It was therefore probably an opposition to Mars in Pisces, which would also account for Thurber's excessive dreaminess and his problems with alcohol, as well as the tenderer and more romantic spheres of experience, as Pisces rules love and all other intoxicants. I would also expect to find Uranus, the planet of the inexplicable and especially the planet of misunderstood geniuses, in the constellation Scorpio, which rules erotic thought, since his brilliant visions of the wars and comedies of the sexes are so persistently misunderstood.

``So his life is explained, but his life is not what Thurber left behind for us, and it is too late for me to tell him that the placement of his sun in Sagittarius indicates that he ought to have come to terms with horses ...''

_Animal Happiness_, Vicki Hearne, p.110

Generalizing about what men or women think, how they approach problems and what motivates them to vote or do certain things only leads the "generalizer" into false premises. This is because there are always outliers in any data set. As a woman who is distinctly an outlier in the generalization of what women think, it does really annoy me to hear such drivel as "women think this" "women vote like that" etc.

Often there are more than just a few outliers when the person assembling the data set does it with prejudice and bias. Plus, the omission of data points (people) to eliminate outliers when the set is assembled will give a skewed result that is basically a falsehood. The current polling methods come to mind in that there are many people who are eliminated from the polling process and the results are sadly distorted, unreliable and skewed to give the results that are desired instead of the reality.

Just because "some people" have dealt more with certain types of women (or men too to be fair), doesn't mean that all women like soap operas, are feminists or are unable to use logic and reason to reach conclusions based on facts. Perhaps "some people" need to get out more and associate with more than just their loyal (and very cute) dog.

And Trump is right. The second amendment people will get right on this attack on their rights. First by the legal processes, the courts and advocacy groups. Supporting a candidate who also supports the 2nd A is the most important thing. The support of the NRA and others who are gun owners, hunters, and just those who want to protect themselves will be most important.

However, should all that fail, there is a fall back position that the 2nd A people who also support the 4th and 10th can resort to using. You don't want that. So, we need to act now to keep a Supreme Court pack with progressive fascists who will strip us of our freedoms.
