Things that make you go hmmm.

"The biggest news outlets have published more negative stories about Hillary Clinton than any other presidential candidate — including Donald Trump — since January 2015, according to a new analysis of hundreds of thousands of online stories published since last year.
Clinton has not only been hammered by the most negative coverage but the media also wrote the smallest proportion of positive stories about her, reports Crimson Hexagon, a social media software analytics company based out of Boston."

April screams, "It's not fair!!!!".

Actually, some of the worst stuff has been coming out in the last year (anybody know how much of F&F involved her?). And, yes, even with all the stage management, her negatives are still ghastly.

Ed- the blogging headache has arrived.

My cue to leave.
But first, I disagree that the media have given Hillary the most negative coverage. No possible way.
I call BS.

Sure. Now us Trumpist thugs aren't allowed to say anything.

Just for funsies, though, would it make a difference if Lewandowski called fields, but she never-returned them?

PS I never let a lie or misrepresentation go unanswered. If some people don't like that, maybe they shouldn't stretch the blanket.

Which is so wrong because clearly she does the most positive things.

When you're subject to an openly announced FBI investigation for violating the Foreign Espionage Act for your handling of classified documents, you're likely to get a lot of negative press.

Only if we're talking positively evil.

When you make a speech over your ambassador "friend's" coffin, promising to throw an amateur video maker in jail (and later making good on that promise) because that poor bastard was supposed to have incited the Benghazi attack, you're going to get a hell of a lot of negative press.

Especially when you already knew that video had nothing to do with it.

I would be curious how they gauge what is "negative."

For example a story about the actual FBI investigation could be gauged as "negative" when it is just factual.

A story about Trump saying we should ban Muslim immigrants could be gauged as "negative" when it is just factual and something that a lot of people would think is actually "positive."

So we have to define our terms.

edutcher said...

Exactly.

I think, in her case, almost anything could be cast that way. Even if it involves Willie, it might still be construed as casting aspersions on her.

Good thing VOX puts their pictures on the graph otherwise we'd have no idea what they look like.

I haven't listened to one single word that Kasich has said after he said those initial words in the first debate. Everyone knows he's a gigantic Macy's parade balloon held aloft by GOPe firehose money and rope handlers tugging him along.

To vex us.

The graph proves it. We're all hopelessly sexist. All attention is good attention, negative attention is waved off as haters. Cackler for us again, Hillary, I meant to say laugh just now but that sexist Freudian thing came out instead.

It's not like her voice isn't a yard rake dragged across a blackboard. Then fingernails. Then fingernails that get bent backward while making the nerve-touching prolonged sound.

The only answer is death. Honest to goodness it's the only thing that will stop her. This is what death is for. What is the meaning of life? Well, let's start with what is the meaning of death. Death is for putting and end to this sort of bullshit otherwise it'd go on forever.

Kasich is pretty far back in the field. If he became a contender, there would be far moe stories about his past history of genocide and cannibalism.

Well, yeah, if you want to get all practical about it.

This is tripe. Has there been even one MSM presentation stating the bald truth -- that her putting top state secrets on an unprotected server amounts to giving those secrets to an enemy, i.e. treason? No.

The way Kasich inhales a hero sandwich is scary enough for me.

THE SHADOW: Hillary Rodham, you were not named after Sir Edmund Hillary, your entire life has been bullshit and I'm going to end it now.

HR: But but but I'm not a billionaire yet and I haven't had the kind of revenge I dream of having on EVERYBODY and I promised Huma that if she'd only.....................................................

The most popular candidate - the one with the best polling by far in the general election is also the dumbest, oldest, least accomplished, and most leftist, which means the most dangerous. What happened to this country where a communist is the leading contender for President?

Americans over a couple generations have miseducated and then robbed their offspring, leaving them incapable of saving themselves from either their parents or themselves.

How can Sanders be so prefered by a nation that has been electing Republicans overwhelmingly at every level of government for a decade now? I have no idea what my people are about anymore. Is everybody high?

You don't get it (surprise).

People like Bernie. Yeah, he's a doof who lives in a dream world, but he's a lovably goofy old guy who still took on the two most important crime families in the country, the Ozark Mafia and the Choom Gang and is still alive.

He's the guy who didn't give up when everybody (him included, probably) thought it was over and he's still in there pitching. He's so out of touch with reality, he makes Don Quixote look like Ethan Edwards, and everybody loves that about him. He's getting cheated and knows it, but keeps plugging on. People love that he won't give up.

He's what Daddy Cruz needs so badly, but will never have. He's a mensch.

And he's our mensch.

Not high enough to forget how gerrymandering and voter suppression and lobbyist-financed public offices work. That takes your level of high. High up in the sky with gates and armed guards. Or just on the beach.

You are so removed from the average voter that you might as well live in your own offshore account. Inside a safe deposit box.

Bernie won his own state of Vermont at 80+%, which takes support from conservatives, also. How does he do it? By recognizing that big business (like I would guess Bags, for instance) isn't always friendly to small business. When the lobbyists who represent the likes of RINOs like Bags float legislation intended to make things easier for big corporations and hell on small business, Bernie votes with the interests of the latter. Bags hates stuff like that, I'd bet.

Isn't it funny how Bags wants people to believe that Obama and the Clintons are actually bad for and working against his interests? ;-)

They are, but that's not the point.

Bernie's a human being.

Ted is, wll, look at him.
