I already called this out. Limbaugh must be reading Lem's. I've said before that the entirety of Urkel care is to make things so miserable that people will scream for government to become the sole provider of health-care that in 5 to 10 years private insurance will only be available to the very wealthy or be outlawed outright. Since government set themselves up and with SCOTUS blessings that they can compel you to buy their products (whatever those may be) that they can force you to single payer whether you like it or not.
Meth called it. Many people called it during the ObamaCare Democrat shove-down. Rush thinks he's a ground breaker with this stuff. Trust me! He's not. "Don't doubt me folks..." It was designed to fail so the democrats can push it into a 100% government controlled system/tax payer funded system. You know - like the VA.
Everyone must buy health insurance at age, oh 23. No government plans... All private health insurance. No more health care thru your employer. YOU buy it, and it becomes yours. You carry it with you. You are free to shop and change your coverage as you see fit. Private health care would flourish with so many customers. Customers would benefit with so many choices and fierce competition for your business.
Without government corruption, incompetence and graft, the treasury would NEVER be raided to pay-off the big insurance companies who lobbied for a government subsidy. In fact, lets make that illegal!
Keep some basic common sense regulations over the health care industry like no discrimination over pre-existing conditions. (this is where the kinks would need some tweaking)
We can keep some social safety nets available for low income, those who cannot care for themselves, and elderly low income. etc...
Louisiana had a system much like that YEARS ago in the 50s with its state-wide Charity Hosp system save for the employer offered plan which covered the uninsured & indigent payed out of State funds. So did a lot of other states like CA and Illinois with their huge "County Hospitals" for indigents and Blue Cross/Blue Shield (and other pvt insurers) with "Major Medical" which covered most expenses large & small with reasonable fees and low deductions for the middle and working class.
I read a piece somewhere while Obamacare was being put together that the plan was for it to fail, and segue into socialized medicine.
if you remember one of the original argument for UrkelCare was that there were 30 million people who didn't have healthcare, so that was one of the impetuses for approving this legislation. However, none of these fucking idiots ever bothered to say, well, maybe we should just create a sandbox that allows 30 million people in it and we will just deal with them. Nope, instead, it's a fucking free-for-all and oh by the way, let's hijack a sixth of the economy to do it. Then we had to deal with a two nuanced SCOTUS decisions to remind us that elections have consequences only to remind those nine fucktards in black robes that not one single republican voted for it. Hello!!! RMPC's are playing the long game. They know that GOPe will just fold anyway and go along to get along. Now it's just pedal to the metal of towards an RMPC dystopian future. Conservatives/GOP have given so much ground over and over again to these RMPC fuckers, letting them incrementally infect this country like a virus.

Not meaning to steal your thunder but doesn't this fall into the category of Stuff We Already Know?
Here's an idea:
