Man escapes from car dangling on cliff edge, only to be hit by a passing bus

On Saturday afternoon, the motorist lost control of his vehicle while driving along Malibu Canyon Road, leading the SUV to dangle off the side of the cliff, according to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
Although the driver managed to climb out of the vehicle, he was then hit by a tour bus that was passing by.

Bad Karma.

Myth Busters showed that if you add a sufficient amount of frozen turkeys onto the hood of a vehicle dangling over the edge like that, then it will tip over and fall. I see no frozen turkeys and no tipping, therefore this is busted.

The Legislature will soon require a stop light and crosswalk in this location and anywhere this might possibly happen, and then they will create a new Department of Unfortunate Happenings (DUH) manned by an army of bureaucrats to study these occurrences and develop policy and regulation to make sure these things at least result in some form of tax revenue.

It takes time for even the best sniper to work her way into position and security in Doral is pretty tight.

Yes, this has a final destination feel to it. Expect a freak accident at the hospital next.

IIRC there was a case in SoCal a few yrs back (25?) where a gal was injured in a car accident, was being rushed to the hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries, but the ambulance itself was hit by another car and she was crushed in that collision and died.

When it's your time..

LOLOLOL! not even a joke actually. I fully expect the bald weirdo and your pathetic nanny-state Dem legi-law-sters to do it.

Hi Lem.

I'm just busy with work. I have a bathroom re-model and they want 3 options with tons of crown detail and wainscot. The shower is complete. Encore tile is about 100$/ sq foot. holy crap that is one expensive shower.

April, what are your thoughts on having a metal tub, c. 1950s, epoxyed or re-enameled. Skirted. Without uninstalling it.

Hard to answer. Make sure the people who are doing it have plenty of happy customers and also some examples for you to see.

Must be heavy. I know it is done all the time. Just make sure you are confident in who you hire.

Sure. Not much personal experience on that front. Removed a cast iron tub from a home - 2nd floor once. The house almost caved-in in the process. Nails popped out of their holes. Best to leave it if you can.
