"Family mourns teen shot to death in Lake Park"

Family members identified the victim as 17-year-old Claverle "C.J." Joseph. They said he was on his way to Palm Beach Gardens High School when a gunman opened fire on him at Silver Beach Road and Sixth Street.

She said this was the third time someone shot at her son. The last time he was shot in the hand a few weeks ago. (video story at the link)

"...a good kid who hung out with the wrong crowd."

Ever notice that they're ALL GOOD KIDS?!

Well, what struck me is how after two previous attempts against this kid nothing changed.

The story does not go into it.

No talk of pulling him out of that school?

Nothing.

Good kid ends up dead. Who knew?

I wonder if President Obama is going to comment? Will he lament the death of this young man?
Will he say that he could have been his son? Will the activists in Black Lives Matter gather to mourn and protest at the sight of this murder?

On second thought I don't wonder at all. Never mind.

There were 2900 shootings last year in Chicago, minus the 470 dead , that left 2430 survivors. The estimated hospital bill for shooting victims is $50,000 per. That leaves the taxpayers picking up the bill for over 121 million. I would say what Chicago needs is gun control, they need a better kill rate. Shootings this year are up 20%.

"described her son as a good kid who hung out with the wrong crowd."

The money quote that everyone is quoting here stands out because it is such a lame cannard. Honey, you failed as a parent. You got by on 17 years and didn't pay attention and it ended up with your 17 year old dead. Ultimately, that's on you since you recognized yet did nothing when we has hanging out with the wrong crowd. I wonder where the SJW BLM'ers are? Oh wait.

I just can't get over how the mind of the teen works where he is shot at twice and goes back to get shot at again.

What happen to self preservation?

The government took care of that too.
