There's much more over at LL's blog Virtual Reality. He actually was there. Costa Mesa is a bit far north for me, but I'll be interested in future rallies.
That cartoon leaves out the most numerous and vociferous protestors -- the Mexicans who stay in the gringo's face Mexican no matter how many generations have been born in America.
The palace revolution has moved in across the highway from me. Trump's speaking today, Cruz tomorrow, Carly tomorrow night. The shouting charging people are showing up in force and talking about blocking the highway. On a Friday when people are trying to get home from work.

No one will protest Cruz or Fiorina. They are protesting Trump because he is by far the weakest candidate and the one they think they can cow. Amirite?
The term "pyrrhic victory" comes to mind as applicable to these protests. They win a day "off" from being useless in another location along with some media attention. We win votes.
Uh oh, now the morons have burnt a flag. That used to mean something. Now it's just one of many symbolically empty gestures of vapid, bland, indoctrinated stupidity.
I really wish a crew of snipers with .416 Barret's, .338 Lapua's, or .308's picking off these sub-human pieces of sidewalk gum would have been entrenched and activated.

LL's post is good
Keep it up boys, down that path lies a landslide.
Remember '68.
This will be a rerun.
@ripic: If Trump can unite the BLM and La Raza forces, then he highlights their similarities.
'68 sucked.
Depended on where you were.
In country was not a good place to be.
The Rolling Stones' take on 1968:
Street Fighting Man
The best thing that could happen to the Donald is have these nut job paid Democrat protesters riot in places like Costa Mesa.

The good news: We might pick up a few more voters!

Someone must have coined a simple term for this sort of protest -- the sort that garners more support for the protested person place or thing.
Cow? Carly? Oh no you dih-int!
Chick-we all look alike to them.

As far as cowing goes, I defer to EBL.

That would break up the drum circle.
