The one that sticks out most in my mind is when they set out to prove/disprove that Kitt from Knight River could successfully exit the back of the 16 wheeler while moving.
The mythbuster guys, Adam drove I believe, made several successful exits.
It was a great series, and one of the best jobs you could land in my opinion. The one problem was all the stuff they couldn't do the easy or exciting way because either their insurance or some regulation wouldn't let them. For instance: Would the desert really turn to glass if we nuked ISIS? I mean we all wanna see the answer to that - just to know.
I enjoyed the series, actually have the Sci channel marathon on right now, but I was completely bored by the series finale. You know why they never showed an explosion at 10,000 frames a sec? Because with the average TV refresh of 30 fps, it would take over 5 minutes to view just one second of footage. If you understand that, you know they still didn't show 10,000 fps video. If you want to see cool high speed camera footage, behold Ascent.
