Unable to ever appear on a substantive news program, Mr. Primetime goes on Fallon, Ellen, and Univision.

Never asked a direct or difficult question during his entire two terms, I see this shallow, cowardly, fraud doing things like basketball picks and stupid YouTube videos. Never has the Presidency been so damaged. Never has America looked weaker. Never has such a child been propped and powered up to appear "he's running things." He runs nothing in this country but his lie filled mouth. Mamma Jarret and those in his rarified bubble is running the show,[sic] and he does what they tell him to do. Can not WAIT until this disaster is out. Of course he will be the most insufferable, rude, loud mouth Ex-President sharp shooting the new President from the sidelines. Unlike BUSH who shut up, he won't. He's too into Hollywood and the spotlight to just go away with his Beefeater wife.

Wow. But what does gin have to do with it? This is a comment among hundreds of similar brought by Drudge to Variety.com's piece about Obama complaining on the Ellen Show how Washington is depressing.

You can imagine what the short ones say.

The best defense so far seems, "Oh Jeeze, look what Drudge brings." The commenter can dismiss the whole thing, dismiss the article and dismiss all opposition as simply more partisan views such as his own. It's all Drudge and nothing of value. as I would think oh it's all Huffington Post so consider the source.

Gee, think how depressed he would be if he had to actually pay for things; if he didn’t live in a “palace”; if he didn’t have bodyguards and servants by the dozens; if he didn’t get to vacation several times a year to places like Hawaii, all paid for by others; if his dog didn’t get a plane of his own; if he didn’t get goodies for life, including a fat pension; if he wasn’t assured of millions and millions of dollars after he leaves office at a relatively young age; if his children had to go to public schools; if he had to obey the law, like most people do; if he had to drive himself–in a Ford, not a limousine; if he wasn’t the most powerful man in the world; if he had to provide for his family without living off the government teat and by cashing in on the perks of being a president and ex-president; if he has to mow his lawn, vacuum the carpet, or take out the garbage; if he didn’t eat the best food in the world, cooked by world-class chefs and served by “slaves”; if he actually had to abide by the Constitution and rule of law; if he couldn’t snap his fingers and get anything he wants (except of course the approval of a majority of the American people.)

Poor guy. Well, if he’s depressed, he can always get the best psychologists in the world to help him out. Don’t worry about the tab, Barack. We’ll pick it up.

Me, Chip, Wow. Just wow. This is what happens when people ruminate. This didn't pop off the guy's head. He thought about this. Repeatedly. As one does while bellied up to a bar and ruminating all the things about your life that make you miserable. Until all the ducks are lined up in a row. And you review the material over and over. so it spills out like this at the drop of a dime.

I never forgot the existence a piece by Dorothy Rabinowitz called The Alien in the White House, written in 2009.

"The distance between the president and the people is beginning to be revealed."

The article is now behind a pay wall, so I can't refresh my recollection of it.

Sorry I brought it up.

So when did this all begin? With Clinton playing the sax on Arsenio and laughing at the boxers or briefs question?

Democrats are treated like Hollywood stars. It's all part of the prooganda.

"He runs nothing in this country...."

Still not sure whether he is totally a puppet and frontman or part of the team hellbent on gutting America. I mean we're not talking rocket science here. A committed marxist ideologue like Barry simply has to enact the idiot Marx's playbook and the country is hollowed out. The details of enactment can be left to bright boy apparatchiks like that Gruber creep. So it's quite possible a mental midget like Obama is an active participant in the destruction.

P.S. Anyone who remains a committed ideologue past, say 30, is a mental midget. Like Schmendrik. You out there, Schmendrik, you walking misery?

Man, the comments to that article from Variety are ripping Obama a new one. I wouldn't consider Variety a conservative enterprise.

Who hired him?

April nails it. Washington DC is ugly business for show people.

Didn't you ever wonder why Obama had to snarl LA traffic so many tines over the past 8 years?

The beefeater reference is puzzling. Perhaps it refers to her penchant for wearing garish red and black dresses. Perhaps it's a reference to haunches. Anyways, for cheap gin, nothing beats Gordon's

Beefeater may refer to her height and some hairdos looking like a beefeater hat.

These are not mutually exclusive. The oligarchy may be trying to engineer a soft landing for tech taking over jobs and tech taking over people's minds and tech hyper-organizing information...GPS, driverless cars, google maps, DNA databases. But mainly people losing jobs to tech while the population increases.

I didn't even read the article or watch the videos.

I like Ellen. Don't watch the show, but I like her a lot. She did have Sia on, and that one segment has me fascinated. (But then yelps at the end as Ellen does, interrupting the end, actually, to snip it off ruins the end. To keep it ruins the end. Ellen ruined the end with her yelping enthusiasm) But the performance extraordinary. Extraordinarily extra ordinary.

I'd have to watch yet another segment of Obama being celebrity in order to know what went on and flat do not care to indulge especially one so desperately demanding such as any of the Kardasian family at this late point.

So N to he O on the Vid e Yo.

Straight to comments instead, KABOOM, Drudge was here first. And that will happen to any place that Drudge links. I often wonder why he links so many places that don't accept comments, and this is why.

It was fun.

A few lame supportive voices trembling in the tide. It was fun.

Wow. You must be pretty pissed that there's a president out there who happens to be cooler than a lonely misanthrope in a Members Only jacket like you, Chip.

I'm sure there are millions of people cooler than Chip. That doesn't make them Presidential.
