Suspect in Cologne sex attacks: “I am Syrian. You have to treat me kindly. Mrs Merkel invited me.”

Only one year? Seems longer.

In retrospect, was it wise for the Hebdo people have been doing that?

Love ya Deb, but is it appropriate to ask if it was wise for the following people to be doing that?

an assassinated abortionist?
a woman who is raped walking alone.
a Black who gets lynched for talking to a white woman?
Etc, Etc.

It may not be wise, but was it brave?, was it important that it be done anyway, was it their right to do it? Is the question the right question?

John Kerry understands crazy anger from radical Islamic f*ckheads.

Love ya back, bags, but the question was wise, not brave. One of the Hebdo survivors won't draw Mohammed anymore. When reality meets idealism, the results can get messy. South Park wouldn't go there.

Certain lines aren't worth crossing, like raping a man's daughter. He will kill you because of the sanctity in which he holds his daughter.

Is bravery wise? I guess it depends on the principle.
Getting raped just for walking alone at night is more likely than getting killed for drawing Mohammed cartoons.

Speaking out against Islamist ideology for the sake of free speech and liberty I think is both brave and wise, because letting the violence of Islamists stop us is both cowardly and stupid? I respect the Hebdo guys for what they did. They died for us, and our freedoms.

We need a U.S. battle flag with a Hebdo cartoon on it. The same on every piece of ordinance we drop on ISIS. In fact, we should design a bomb that explodes into millions of tiny Hebdo ISIS-mocking cartoons that float gently down like giant mocking snowflakes of peace.

fab idea, Bags.

The idea that it bothers Obama and Lynch as much as it does the rage filled pussy Muslims, I want to mock them until they explode. Lets get this over with.

CAIR is one insult away from going postal. Lets push them over the edge.

If we are to agree that Charlie Hebdo is unwise for drawing a cartoon, then I guess we should agree with the Cologne mayor that the women were unwise to even be on the streets with men around.

deborah said...

Fuck yes they were unwise. Are we living in reality or some la la land of ideals?

bagoh20 said...

Apparently, wisdom involves hiding in your basement and keeping very very quiet.

Avoid matches, bags.

Deborah, you are what is known as shortsighted.

If you want to be afraid and cowed, go ahead and say it is unwise to live your life by your dictates. Just don't whine later when you are forced into a burka, told women are inferior to men, and raped whenever a man feels like it. Because the same Sharia law that claims "any graphical depiction of Mohammad is blasphemy" also gives men the authority to treat women as I described.

And to help clue you in with a perspective you seem unable to obtain; I'll be clear. The people being unwise is the French government that didn't make it clear to immigrants that Sharia Law is not French law. Proof of their lack of wisdom is the evidence of additional attacks in Paris that had nothing to do with Charlie Hebdo's drawing. Additional proof are the hundreds of women sexually assaulted in the past week across Europe.

Leland, let me know when you go downtown in a large city with a large sign saying 'I believe in the temporary banning of Syrian immigrants.' Not in a rally, just you. Stand there for two hours.

My point is about common sense. Don't go in a crowd where there will probably by Muslims who would chop your hand off as soon as shake it. There are certain parts of LA and NYC no person with common sense goes.

Meth is correct, this is on the leaders, who I believe are, by their lights, taking the long view. The white population of Europe has essentially been sold down the river. They will have to suck it up. Shit happens, things change. Best case scenario, there will be an uneasy toleration between whites and muslims, white flight, and eventually the muslims will outbreed the whites.

Let me know when you write something that makes sense.

See, this is what I mean about you not making sense, Deborah. First, you ask if it is ok to blame Charlie Hebdo. Bags and I tell you no. Hint Deborah, Charlie Hebdo is not the leaders of Europe. Then in response Deborah, you tell me to wear a sign saying no Syrians. I'm neither a leader nor in Europe. Further, I think we should vet immigrants, not just let them in, as the US did the terrorist from Saudi Arabia. Hint, the concept of vetting immigrants works for people from all countries, but your dumb idea only works for Syrians.

The white population of Europe has essentially been sold down the river.

Apparently you want to sell them further by calling them unwise to hold to their ideals.

Shit happens, things change. Best case scenario, there will be an uneasy toleration between whites and muslims, white flight, and eventually the muslims will outbreed the whites.

Ah, the fatalism; perhaps that's the insight into your line of thought Deborah. You have given up, so you are ready to just sit back and let shit happen to you. Is that your common sense? When things happen, you just lie back and take it?

deborah said...

Leland, I did not say blame Hebdo, I asked if they were wise to draw Mohammed.

The big discussion in this country has been about allowing Syrian War refugees in.

It's not fatalism (look it up), it's reality-based assessment.

Leland said...

No, it is fatalism. I did the work you refused to do the get the definition:

"the belief that all events are predetermined and therefore inevitable"

I'll just quote you again:

"The white population of Europe has essentially been sold down the river. They will have to suck it up. Shit happens, things change. Best case scenario, there will be an uneasy toleration between whites and muslims, white flight, and eventually the muslims will outbreed the whites. "

Your words are quintessential fatalism. You're just being boorish now as well as being nonsensical. You're a waste of time.

A best case scenario makes allowances for worse case scenarios, and my best case is a reasonably good one, considering the alternatives.
