Morrison was being heteronormative when he changed the original Brecht/Weil line "Show me the way to the next little boy" to the less offensive "Show me the way to the next little girl."
Really about the line change? Morrison just went up a notch in my book. This song would have been really creepy if it wasn't changed, and never would have become the classic it is today.
