Katrina Pierson

Katrina Pierson is spokesperson for Donald Trump. Gathered from a few too brief videos, some with men speaking over her, dominating time, interrupting, and gathered from the titles of search results, the reaction she causes, she appears the analog of Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Michelle Malkin combined, a woman of fierceness, brains and looks. It appears Donald Trump has chosen a very capable spokesperson. Don't tell anyone, it appears I'm in love.

YouTube titles by searching her name:

Doesn't she sound fun? I'll show the last one, now that I know his name, he's in the earlier one but unnamed. He's a dope. They're pulling the Journolist thing of agreeing to hammer a point so he stays stuck on an issue only he and they previously agreed to linger on and when finally unproductive with her then he says that he doesn't want to go down a rabbit hole, after he dragged us all through it and stayed there in Wonderland.

Other journalists do the same thing with the same specific insistence that one element is important. Katrina attempts to get across it's important to people with no intention of voting for Trump and can never have traction with anyone else. Those days are gone. At this point the attempt to use Trumps own faux pas against him helps Trump. But they cannot see that. Being C students it's their one go-to. The titles say, crushes and destroys, and obliterates and such but Katrina is actually simply rejecting their premises and providing her own, the ones well discussed on Trump's circuit, and going from there. None of that is new to Trump's supporters, but the reporters and the activists are not used to being presented with completely different paradigm by having their language dropped and Katrina providing her own. The effect is her lifting a template up to their faces and spray-painting her bold colors across them and it is glorious to behold.

Searching her name through regular browser shows Journalst style approach to destroy her.

The first minute that ran reminded me of Brian's risible concern for truth.

Without listening again, they were on about reading Teleprompter. Trump speaks from the heart and things come out in the excitement of the moment, some of it not so factually provably accurate.

Journ-o-lister types would like to latch on mistakes made during campaign and make hay of it but nothing they bring up matters and it's frustrating for them.

Brian suggests Teleprompter is more truthful, more honest because statements read from it are carefully crafted whereas speaking directly human to human heart to heart soul to soul is carelessly off the cuff and less factual less trustworthy less truthful. Two models of honesty and truth asserted for your assessment. Brian didn't care much for Teleprompter presidency but regards it more honest.

And that's why I regard Brian a dope, completely outclassed, and Katrina no one to mess with. How she tolerates patiently the men's rudeness in the other videos ganging up on her is beyond me. They treat her as unreal object. I look at her face in the key frame above and swoon, compare the capture to his.

Shirley, you jest. Just on one of the points she was trying to make, do you really think Trump was not mocking that reporter's handicap? Whether you find that objectionable or not, he was clearly doing it. Both Trump and his spokesperson denied that obvious truth and simply lied about it. That's just a fact, and I don't know why people on all sides have such trouble with the truth. If your guy has to lie about what he says and does, then that is what it is, whether it disqualifies him or not in your overall assessment. Trump's lying about this shows weakness to me. He couldn't stand up and own what he did. He should have just said, "yea, I mocked him. I don't like what he did, and when I defend myself, I take off the gloves, and I don;t treat the handicapped like helpless children - I assume they can take it like anyone else."

That's how a real alpha male owns his own actions, mistake or not.

Labels: Trump's a pussy.

My first reaction was, why would Trump need a spokesperson?

But then after a bit i thought, if anybody needs one, it would be Donald Trump.

Wouldn't it?

Notice how the media, as a whole, doesn't come close to asking those same sorts of questions about Hillary and Bill.

People, including other candidates, make fun of Trump's handicap all the time, and everyone nods in agreement, so it's all fair game in my book.

I am impressed with Katrina. She's great.

The hack press cannot believe Trump is still in this thing. Trump has stepped on his dick a few times, sure enough, but gone are the days when stupid mistakes only matter when R's/GOP commit them. For that, I am grateful to Trump.

It is unbelievable that Hillary is still in this thing. She's a total failure, a total fraud, a total liar, 100% corrupt. She trashed all of Bill "Bimbos" with ferocity. Laughed at the rape of a 12 year old girl. She's a sociopath and a money-grubbing weirdo, and yet the media give her a pass.

Some media outlets get it. hiccup

I agree with Bagoh regarding the Donalds obvious mocking of a disabled reporter. Just admit it and move on. (oh and cut it out)

Trump mocks a disabled reporter: He's doomed!

Clinton sets up a private server while on the job at State for exchanged bribes from international sources in exchange for Clinton Foundation money.

Yeah - Our media understands which offense is worse.

Here's how that double standard works: When a Repub. does it, it's assumed it was done and it was wrong. All that's left is how he handles it. He must fight it, explain it, or excuse it, but it is accepted that he did it, and it was wrong.

When a Dem. does it, it's innocent until proven guilty beyond any doubt, and then you still have to prove it was wrong, unprecedented, and inexcusable. Each is required before anything was done wrong. That's why what Hillary did isn't getting any coverage. They need an indictment, a conviction, an apology, and proof it wasn't excusable due to something else like the machinations of the patriarchy or a "vast right wing conspiracy". Every step is an opportunity to say "move along - nothing to see here". And of course there is always "what difference now does it make?

Bago - get your point re Trump but he is winning by playing by the Dem rules and Dems never admit anything and never concede an inch. So suggest you get off the high horse in this case.

Bag, what are you trying to prove? You keep beating around the bush, but you never get straight to the heart of the matter. I'll say it like this. I'm not a Trump supporter, but I will support him if he's the nominee. I get that you don't like him, but will you or will you not support him if he's the nominee?

The handicapped thing had me in stitches. Honestly. That was f'n childish.

The affectation matches the real guy exactly.

That's why it's impossible to believe Trump didn't intend it. I think it's possible. In terms of composite reporters amongst them a few handicapped. And the match is just too perfect and now cannot be denied and that doubles the hilarity. Perfect to crush Trump, but it doesn't and now it is triply funny. Jokes on you twice, handicapped guy, once for being handicapped and twice for inability to parlay that to destruction of your enemy. Oh dear, here comes another laughing fit.

Speaking of being a spaz, that accident that happened by starting a squat from the impossible bottom has translated to everyday life. Just normal standing from sitting position now a similar thing happens. It feels extraordinary. I haven't felt it in decades. The lifting action begins at the bottom, the work of lifting starts at the feet and ankles, and now I feel all that activating first. It feels like two tree stumps suddenly realizes their roots and strain them to step up as if lifting on tip toes without actually doing that, just straining, and directing the leverage upward through the legs instead and boing there I am standing up. Now that happens several times during the day. So, handicapped guy, there's hope for you. Stick with it and give up on the idea of shaming Trump with it. The man is shameless.

Today I heard a bald-headed Republican planning guy gripe about Trump being unedited 12-year old. He said that twice, as twelve-year olds repeat their best line twice. And I thought, how do you or anyone know how much Trump IS editing? And don't ask him what he thinks of you might not give the answer that you want him to ... *guitar riff*

I liked the S E Cupp one the best. Pierson made her look and sound like an airhead.

Cupp is mislead because she apparently believes that non-citizens, non residents, have Constitutional rights. That's Obama thinking: the whole world has our rights. She should have known better. Shame on her.

We can tell people wishing to immigrate here whatever we want to for any reason -- so long as it doesn't violate international laws or treaties which we've signed. We can prevent them from entering the country if they are sympathetic with terrorists for religious reasons. It's American.

Scrutinizing Trump should not be out of bounds. I have no illusions about the man. He is imperfect. Some days he makes me cheer. Some days he makes my blood boil. I would feel better about him if he would mature and study-up. Sure, he is unapologetic to a media that actively works to destroy him and any R candidate for micro transgressions and slips. (all while their candidate of choice is a criminal) Trump needs to adjust to his status as front-runner.

bagoh20 said...

Meth, I'm not beating around the bush. I've said repeatedly that I'll support Trump if he's the nominee, but I think his negatives should not be ignored or redefined for the cause. If he's the candidate that most here seem to think, then he can deal with that just fine, but this Teflon shit is not a sign of a healthy electorate on either side. This is the time to be discriminating, and not a cheerleader. What I wrote is simply the truth, that we should acknowledge before we choose. To pick a guy just on his persona is how we got the worst President in history, who was convinced partly by the electorate that he can do no wrong. Remember "I won". That is a Trump mindset if I ever saw one. When I see Trump stick it in the eye of the establishment I admit that I smile and do love it too because he's doing it to the enemy. My concern is conservatives getting the same treatment if he's elected. He talks like a winner, but not a like a conservative, nor a man who values telling the truth.

I'm saying this boldface lying has got to stop. He was mocking the reporter, and he didn't see thousands cheering 9/11 in Jersey either. We all know that, so why pretend otherwise? Like everyone else here, I'd get a huge kick out of Trump wining the whole thing, but after that we will have another pushy Teflon President, because we told him we like that. I wish he'd show the kind of balls I respect, instead of typical political denials covered up with bravado. Now is the time to point out such things, so I can say I told you so. If he gets the nomination, I'll get out my pom poms and cute skirt and cheer him on. I want Hillary and the Dems buried in this election, but I want something I can respect in it's place. I hope more than anything that Trump wins and shrinks the government. But if we don't get someone with the mandate and backbone to cut a lot of the graft and excesses in our federal system, then nothing else will matter. Terrorism, and immigration are important, but not even close to what government overreach does to us each and every day. That's just my overwhelming issue, because I think it causes most of the rest, and is the thing making us less American everyday.

Chip Ahoy said...

I understand that. Thank you rcommal.

This is what impresses me so much about Katrina, the little I've seen of her. Just look at her cheerful face that shines among a panel of sourpusses who you know would very much like to strangle her. She is bright and clear in her thinking and her expression of all that among a sea of truly dull tiring wearisome drilling jackhammering and oddly somnolent impossible to listen to people. They MUST be muted. For being intolerable. How does she do it?

Something meta is happening. She remains pleasant and beautiful because she knows that she is not talking to those immediate people, rather she is using them as starting point of discussion to talk past them to everyone else in Teeveeland. They're mere tools to her. From her p.o.v., "feed me" and she'll then answer us who are listening, and not them right in front of her formulating their next attack if not actually delivering it by speaking right over her as we see repeatedly.

But then if we were to know her as friends we'd find this excellence most likely consumes up to 95% of her life.

A media darling with a winning personality who came out of nowhere and promises change and hope based on bombastic and provocative policy proposals, ostensibly "for the people," but which operated, in effect, for rich cronies. Ring any bells? Do we answer one personality cult with another? Maybe, but in doing so we cede even more of the peoples' control over their government. Now they won't even bother to tell us their specific policy proposals pre- or post- election (much less the content of massive legislation that they themselves don't bother to read). That being said, i'm always happy to see a talking head bleating and weeping as his or her world is dismantled and set on fire. More please.

Trump, in art of the deal fashion, should work on getting people like George Will on his side. Trump has his base, but he needs to expand it. One way would be to stop with the childish weirdness that he has developed as a result of years living in a gold plated penthouse.

She presents with equanimity. And what appears to be a sparkle of something like humor.

Whatever consumes her life, her flame burns clear. And bright.

That Trump would choose someone like her to be his spokesperson is to his credit. That choice also testifies to egotism rather than narcissism (as one of the opposing gents kept insisting). A narcissist can't tolerate someone who outshines them.
