I love this song and how she sings it with all four chambers of my heart and all those tubes coming out of it, atriums, ventricles, vena cava, aorta, the whole bit, muscularly pumping away and oxygenating and literally feeding my entire self fully with appreciation for this song. And I mean it. It does take being mad as a brush to sing an insanely good song. Brava. pumpa pumpa pumpa pumpa all over the place.
It WAS a great retort. It cracked me up like the time I dumped this chick and she wrote a sad song about it, and then I found out she was just a short guy. Aaaah, good times.
Now that she's lost her looks, I find her more sympathetic. It's hard to notice the crazy in a beautiful woman.......There was something poetic and tragic about her lost soul when she was beautiful. The heroine in an O'Neill drama.. Now her plight inspires pity rather than terror......I hope she finds her way out of the hole. Self inflicted wounds are just as painful as the other slings and arrows, and perhaps even more painful because they are self inflicted.
