Well This Is Alarming Old News

From the Wiki:

The rise of Nazism in Germany did not target Muslims. Adolf Hitler had a favorable view of Islam and Muslims. He repeatedly expressed the view that Islam would have been much more compatible to the "Germanic races" than "meek" and "feeble" Christianity:

I await Amartel's reaction to this. I note that around 70% of Moslems in Germany are Sunni Moslems.

Wait - aren't we all supposed to chant 20 times before sunrise that Obama is a Christian?

Didn't television scholar Whoopi Goldberg say Hitler was a Christian?

From whom do you take your orders? From the Beyond or from Adolf Hitler? Who commands your loyalty and your faith? ~Nazi Judge Roland Freisler to convicted Helmut James von Moltke on trial for his life in 1944.

Hitler's alliances with Muslims and specifically the Muslim Brotherhood, and Mustafa Husseini, the leader of the Palestinians are well known. Also his admiration for Ataturk in Turkey. Well, at least well known to people who give a shit. Also, it matters in that it kills the canard that Nazism and the Nazi Party were right wing, which they weren't and aren't.

Himmler always thought that, if there was to be a state religion for Germany, it ought to be Islam.

The Commies hated the Moslems.

Would Germans have conquered the world had they converted to Islam? Only if the world around them cowered. As our world now cowers before Islam. If the Germans had converted to Islam they would have become corrupt layabouts and their women would have done all the work. That's what Islam is now. Fight back - I mean actual fight back not the patty cake the devious one practices - and Islam is stopped. Stopped cold.

The Ba'aath Party (Saddam Hussein) was directly inspired by the Nazis and there is still currently a parallel party in Syria. The Nazis groomed Arabs as allies against the British in the middle east and, of course, the Jews. Muslims were enthusiastic allies of the Nazis in Croatia and the Balkans, Egypt, and most famously, in Palestine. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem didn't like that so many Jews were fleeing to Palestine from Germany and Europe in general. He was already an admirer of the Nazis and coopted with alacrity the notion of a "final solution." Palestinians and their sympathizers to this day echo this notion enthusiastically.

Hitler also said this: "We shall continue to make disturbances in the Far East and in Arabia. Let us think as men and let us see in these peoples at best lacquered half-apes who are anxious to experience the lash."

@Lydia: Thank you for that footnote.

Regarding the "what if" scenario of a Moslem victory at the 8th Century battle of Tours, Speer claimed:

Hitler said that the conquering Arabs, because of their racial inferiority, would in the long run have been unable to contend with the harsher climate of the country. They could not have kept down the more vigorous natives, so that ultimately not Arabs but Islamized Germans could have stood at the head of this Mohammedan Empire.

Apparently, even the atheist Hitler distinguished das Fleisch from das Wort.
