Blue Origin is a privately-funded aerospace developer and manufacturer established by Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos. The company launched a rocket straight up to low earth orbit and landed again upright for the first time ever. Nailing the landing is what makes the launch a first ever success, the flight trajectory less impressive as it was flown straight up and down basically.
Comments on YouTube are useful if there is some confusion with this launch and other private space related efforts.
Lem, the Shuttle's SRB were reusable as well, but...
They landed in saltwater and required refurbishment before reuse. As they were solid rockets, refurbishment included putting the fuel back in. The actual engine nozzle was jettisoned and lost.
Landing back at the pad means less refurbishment, but how much less is still unknown. We never got one back to consider just how much damage was done. The real holy grail will be landing, needing only to refuel, and then be flight worthy again.

That was pretty awesome, but it looks like a dildo on lift off.
That was amazing. Reusable rocket. That's like a holy grail isn't it?
Except for the feathers. I spot a cultural appropriation.
