On Tuesday night, at the first Democratic debate of the 2016 election, Bernie Sanders was asked about the secrecy surrounding Hillary Clinton's emails. By way of an answer, he turned to Clinton and informed her—forcefully—that "the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails.""
According to moderator Anderson Cooper, Sanders was employing a rhetorical gambit used by politicians and comedians alike known as "playing to the room"—in other words, it was a good shortcut to a big applause. His campaign capitalized on the surge, and with almost suspicious timing, sent out a fundraising email referencing Sanders' crowd-pleasing remark. Evidently, 44,000 were #FeelingTheBern, sending Sanders a total of$1.4 million by the end of the night.
Were the comments endearing? Obviously. But true? Not so much.
The most important aspect of her emails that anyone should be paying attention to is the fact that we don't have answers as to why she was using a private email account, andavoiding the Federal Records Act—which is a law—and why the State Department failed to respond to legitimate requests from journalists under the Freedom of Information Act for her emails years before this scandal was ever revealed.
She [Hillary] changes her story time and time and time again. These are things that anyone should care about when it comes to an elected official. My takeaway is that the rules, for some reason, did not apply to Hillary Clinton, as they would have applied to anyone in the federal government. It's also a failure on the part of the State Department, which did not reign her in.

I have no doubt that most Hillary voters would still choose to vote for her even if it guaranteed that Putin got full cyber access to the Pentagon's servers. We all have our priorities, and not electing a Republican is at the tippy top for them. Hillary said herself that her biggest enemy is "Republicans".
The GOP should make an AD with Hillary's statement that she was "proud that all Republicans are her enemies".
Hillary wants to be the modern Jefferson Davis.
This record keeping business is fundamentally important.
We have to know, even if it is said "we don't care", we have to know what the government does in our name.
It goes to the core of self government. Hillary doesn't respect that.
LIVs, Obamabots, and progs generally, if they cared nothing about Benghazi, they care nothing about this.
She will lie to anybody about anything to get what she wants.
Would you want that in, say, your doctor, your accountant, your stock broker, your spouse, your kids?

When you say that, SMILE.
Davis was a pretty good man.
He saved the day at Buena Vista, was a very good Secretary of War - he modernized the US Army to the point it won the Civil War, and refused to give up even after Appomattox.
"Gee, all those partisan political operatives are ganging up on me even though none of my emails, not one was marked Top Secret, so how was I to know?"
"And even though many of those emails were marked 'For the Secretary's Eyes Only," Huma told me the pillow talk would end if I didn't share, so what's a girl to do?"
Bernie is just hoping to get in on a 3 way w/ Hillary and Huma. Remember those rape fantasy stories that Hillary dug up on Bernie?
sHE'S CORRUPT. Let the dnc run her. she is crap on a cracker.
The email scandal is a legitimate abuse for investigation, but until Republicans can find anything substantive to run on I'm afraid to break the news to you that the Democrats will be able to run circles around this.
Democrats are running on socialism and communism and " only black lives matter."
The GOP should invite various ethnicities - Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Latino, Asian, Black and White have them each step forward and ask the various candidates if they matter to the GOP. easy answer. YES.
Then compare to the clown-car democrats. Hillary is such a coward, she couldn't even answer.
GOP Field vs. HRC in PA (PPP)
Carson +4
Christie +4
Rubio +3
Trump +2
Fiorina +1
Kasich -2
Jeb -5
Cruz -6
Santorum -8
Huckabee -9
How can the pro-dem media hacks get Huckabee in there? That is the Question.
In leftwing PA - Rodham is losing to most of the GOP.
heh.
Back in August the #1 word used that came to mind to describe Hillary was "LIAR."
I doubt that has changed after one rigged CNN debate.
9 million more people tuned into the GOP debate.
The Democrats will continue to blow off the "national security" stuff and claim that is just nitpicking on the "rules," and it is all just too "complicated."
Sooner or later, the administration is going to have to leak some e-mails with her financial doings in them and clear enough that people will understand them with no problem.
