Great talking point about the debt. Then it falls apart into your standard cliches, bromides and empty platitudes about "money as the root of all evil".

Like it or not, money is free speech. Money grubbing & insider political trading that screws the tax payer is the root of all evil. Agreed. (like big corporate tax payer funded bailouts, tax payer funding of Obamacare/big insurance companies, and Clinton, Inc...) . yep. you betcha.

The American people are being systematically drained for the new world order of big all encompassing government.

And the guy making the rant knows absolutely nothing will be done...but he has increased his ratings.

btw- I prefer gridlock congress. Every time congress "gets something done", we end up more screwed.

The problem is not the system, nor is it money. The problem is us. A majority of our voting citizens (both living and dead) believe things that are not true, and therefore keep voting for stupid things and corrupt people. Giving one of their dumbest choices unlimited power is definitely not it.

The answer is to give government less power - not more. Virtually, all of our problems are due to us handing over more and more of our personal responsibilities to strangers who don't care about us or our families and friends - they have their own to take care of.

Would a President be a dictator if he insisted on following the Constitution to the letter?

Everybody hates debt until they want something they can't afford. The day after they get the loan, they hate debt again.

Repeat until bankrupt.

Unimpressive.

Typical, actually.

This would be a typical after dinner scene. Emotional. Overwrought. Overthought, but only along dead end lines that are thought through backwards and rerun and with no good solid American solutions at hand, a few clues glimpsed and the abrupt leapt to UFOs for the grand theory of everything, the final truly liberal solution, just everybody else shut up and obey then harken back to his favorite superlegislative American socialist. So beloved the country actually created a constitutional amendment to make sure that never happens again.

Where was the flouncing? The waving of arms, but no actual cartoon flouncing, exit scene, smaller, smaller, to disappearing around the corner. Reappearing flouncing larger, larger, full size, arms waving, "Money in politics is the root of all evil!" But tell us now this chant is not faith.

He's wired up. Literally. That's why no flouncing.

It is the only thing that distinguishes this typical liberal horseshit from any given typical Denver gathering.

Even if all this ranting translates silently to a political-religious artistic decorative creche commemorating Party campaigns or canonized Party figures. It is the exact same frustrated positively mental display. 'Cept differ'nt.

Our country is being extracted.

Specifics, please. Address those specifics and the specific blockages. He almost does then abandons the project to liberal dictatorial fantasy. Abandoning the ONE thing that make our country different and great and less so whenever abandoned in small ways. Yet his answer is abandon completely, so piss off, Stupid.

Unhook your mic and properly flounce. C'mon, you can do it. Like a cartoon. Flap and say all the things you heard on NPR and PBS all jumbled up and make sure your perspective is partisan, make sure it admits Democrats are incapable of governing at Federal level except in the form of their own regulatory baronies.

Admit Democrats are the rooted party of politics incapable of being uprooted.

Admit Republicans are sent to counter the crazy and failed by becoming rooted themselves and are presently being uprooted.

Admit those two basic things.

It is NOT a choice of "kicking the can down the road" you asshole with your asshole clichés and "burning the whole thing down" those are NOT the two choices and NOT the only two choices. Your lane of thought, that you ruminate while you're drinking, this has the sound and the scent of alcohol to it, this is your rumination as you are drinking and your lane thought so well ruminated and now chucked up for all of us abandoned you with two false choices. Alcohol does that. So doe ideology. So does being a dope.

Debt, debt, horrible debt; but don't you dare cut my program!

The problem is us, The People, not the two parties or The System.

Which may be why the Republicans have pledged to NEVER shutdown the government. After all, a shutdown might threaten my program, a service to me suspended, a payment to me deferred! And then there'd be hell to pay!!

The government got shut down already. Only thing I saw different was politicians and pundits trying their hardest to make sure the rest of us noticed it. You would think that such a terrible "burning the whole thing down" would make a little smoke we might notice without them blowing all that hot air on it.

Ah, the allure of a soft tyranny. History shows us that it is a fatal decision.
