Republicans come undone

Jeb! Bush said, "Blah, blah, blah" in response to a question about his campaign spiraling to its death. He elaborated but the impatience is revealing.

I've always marveled at politicians ability to answer the same stupid questions repeatedly, the same challenges presented repeatedly as axiom. Answering once exhausts patience, yet they have it in reserve. But not now. It shows.

His campaign is spending a fortune each month with nothing to show for it. His donors are not getting what they pay for. It is a problem for him. Conversely the Jindal campaign spends a fraction and polls nearly as well. Money in politics is not what it is cracked up to be when the candidate is so unattractive and other candidates available.

But Jeb! Bush is not to be dismissed this easily. It is good conservatism to pare back and focus on the long haul instead and stop burning through cash, staying put until the others in front of him use up their oxygen if not their fuel and burn out.

[msnbc]  (they came up first in results, as they do, for [bush, blah] search).

Meanwhile Mitt Romney pines for the good old days of limited information controlled by a one-Party system with an ineffective supine cooperating opposition Party. Romney sees what everybody sees, increased polarization due to selective sources of information.

I do it.

Look, nobody wants to listen to nonsense. We tune it out. The more nonsense the greater the out-tuning. The only people who engage the opposites are maniacs. These are the people who prance right into opposition sites and tell them how f'd up they are in the heads right there in their own comments. They troll their opposition's sites because they are obsessed with telling them how f'd up they are and how splendid their own political Party. Who has the time for that? Obsessed people do. Maniacs do.

The rest are filtering nonsense. Filtering worldview. Filtering social constructs, filtering gaslights, filtering holodeck programming.

That's all.

An electorate empowered with information flow of the kind that is real to them will appear polarizing because it is, the new reality, post-modern America, and he is unfit to lead in it. He is good at blending broken companies but unfit to lead an uncompromising Party. His model being compromise. If only we still had the old world and old America that Mitt Romney pines for where information and government and entertainment and schools are controlled by liberals and their Party with himself and his like negotiating compromise, but alas that template of cooperation is rejected.

So, that's two things right here indicating Republican party, their donor class, boiling over or coming undone; that Jeb will pare back his campaign, conservative enough, but "blah, blah" a response of impatient noblesse oblige, and the re-introduction of GOPe loser Mitt Romney openly pining for the days of limited governed information and aisle-reaching comity and Party compromises.

Jebbie has run out of patience with the bitter clinger base!

I love that song, and he has one of the best voices of all time in Rock 'n Roll.

Wasn't aware Jeb was the party.

I think I might support a Carson/Trump card or a Trump/Carson card. I've had it with the establishment they are only in it for themselves.

He'd do a lot better if he changed his name. Maybe something with a more ethnic sound. Mohammed Bush?, Jeb Bin Laden, El Chapo? Engelbert Humperdinck?

Thank you. I for one am now tuning out all candidates, both parties. Get back to me after the primaries and let's see if we have "candidates" not drones.

i feel the fatigue too. I tune the media out as much as possible but it's clear they jump on every perceived slight by any R candidate - and cheer and squee Hillary.

It's gross.

Reminds me of when Bush, Sr. became testy toward the end of the '92 campaign.

He was not feeling well (remember when he got sick in Tokyo?).

And was being medicated, it lasted for some time IIRC.

The DEMOCRAT MEDIA INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX makes people cranky and then they get to shove your crankiness in your face and mock you about that, too.

Go read limbaugh's talk on Romney. Finally, Rush tells the truth. He was in the tank for Romney in 2012 because the dumb shit Republicans couldn't handle the truth, but now he's telling it because Romney has finally dropped the mask.

I hate Obama, but I'm glad Romney lost. Funniest comment is when Rush called Mitt "a man of decency and integrity" - well, yeah, I guess if overlook lying to the American people in order to become President.

This is genius.
