Our secretary of defense, Ashton Carter, is again on TV whining that these actions by Russia is not helpful to President Obama's policies, and we have told them that this is no way to act.
Did you mean "proximate" rather than approximate? And yeah... Russia is more proximate to Syria than it might seem. Just, I suppose, as Russia is right across a 30 mile channel from the United States but anyone who points it out must be mocked for being stoooopid.
