Cool.

But, yes, by all means, celebrate the man who did more to change the world except for the man from Galilee.

With a handful of uppers and a handful of downers, like Frances Gumm, you can be an Indian too.

BTW who is the woman in the upper left?

That group is enough to make Iron Eyes Cody cry in his Spaghetti Bolognese.

Exactly, ampersand, David Burge left out some great ones, the crying indian, Iron Eyes, actor Espera Oscar de Cort

Juan Matus (the fictional construct of Carlos Castanada)

Gray Owl, born in England became American conservationist

Chief Buffalo Child Long Lance, an obvious fraud due to "chief" + "child" +"bragging about length of lance, actually Sylvester Long, actor

Forest Carter, another Liz Warren type except this guy claimed to be raised by Cherokee grandparents, a writer full of poo, a white supremacist Alabama Klu Klux Klan member.

Several writers pretended to be indians. Margaret Jones is another -- real name Margaret Seltzer.

Randy Lovely, editor and vice president of the Arizona Republic newspaper claims tribal membership while denying membership in a tribe.

e muchas más.

Columbus was the first immigrant to be mistreated by the colonial oppressors. The only man a well born Spaniard deemed worthy of respect was a better born Spaniard. Columbus was Genoese. He endured a mutiny and, if I remember right, was shipped back from one of his voyages in chains.

Yeah, you're right, Troop, one is a white woman. Wait a minute! They all are white people.

My bride and I were in Genoa a couple years ago. Columbus is a big deal there. It's a blue collar city many tourists look down their noses at. We enjoyed it. They have one of the most famous markets in Europe, the Oriental Market. Wonderful food and the smells are magnificent. It's convenient, just a couple blocks from the train station.

I've been to Genova twice, once in '79 and again in the early 90's. The first time, some finocchio tried to hit on me but was easily repelled. I saw the Columbus house that time. Somewhere, I have this great photo I took of an open market dildo stand juxtaposed right under a holy statue of perhaps the Virgin Mary.

The second time I went, I was traveling with my bride-to-be. An Italian friend took us to his favorite seafood restaurant which was located right next to but under the autostrada (imagine a beautiful old building like you used to find next to the old Embarcadero Freeway in SF before they finally tore it down). Anyways, the food in the place was outstanding. I agree, too many people skip Liguria entirely and focus on Rome and Tuscany.

All Democrats. All liars. All frauds. All arrogant in their perceived moral superiority. In other words: all typical.
