A lot of people will still take the refusal to answer as an answer, but Conservatives should continue to shame the press about its bias. I think that actually works, and skeptical people in and out of the Press are starting to notice the bias that they previously were blind to. The charge will wear out eventually, but we need to get there.
Leftists adore Islam, even though Islam kills gays and subjugates, enslaves and rapes women. obama shows more respect for Islam than any other religion. Obama claims to be Christian but he loathes Christians and Jews. Bitter clingers. So the media gets it's collective leftwing panties in a wad if anyone shares an opinion that doesn't honor and obey their sacred dear leader. We must all stand in salute of Obama's wonderful Christianity - a religion the media hates. Odd.
People on the left have this caricature of a bigot in their head that they imagine everyone on the right has in them to some degree. Fighting that imaginary bigot animates everything they do. That bigot mostly doesn't exist, except in movies, but there are enough of them popping up every now and then to keep the SJW in the fight and their own imagined superiority alive.
They definitely gave good and politically strong answers but that doesn't change the fact that they're coddling erroneous and perhaps pernicious beliefs that they know are wrong. Which goes to the whole issue of their own character.

It's the answer that says "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil," and it aligns perfectly with the reason Republicans are out of touch and gave us a Congress with the lowest approval rating ever: A need to trump up things that aren't true and ignore real problems that are true.
Republicans would simply be more effective if they cut their losses and went with the things they're strong on. No, America wants to avoid war with Iran and has no wherewithal to conduct one anyway, but yes, they're right to bitch about the relief of economic sanctions. No, no one cares about four dead people in a Libyan desert but yes Hillary was contemptuously wrong to use a personal email server for official State business. No, Obama's not a Muslim (not that it matters) but yes it's possible he's naive about global cooperation.
You guys would be a whole lot more effective if you stopped muddying the waters with half-truths and insinuations when a perfectly good real truth will do, even if it doesn't sound as astounding as the whoppers that go along with it. It would be better for America, too.
