Antonio Banderas wants to bring back the cape

"There is one garment that I love that was lost in menswear a long time ago, and I would like to experiment with it: the cape," he said. "For me, it's actually easier than a coat, you walk into a place and you just BOOM! throw it off."

That scene made Catherine Zeta-Jones a star.

Class, fire, sex appeal, and elegance in one package.

I always thought throwing off the cape was more of a shazam moment than a boom moment? But waddaIknow.

Ed, i was going to say a similar thing, but it was also at the height of her hotness. It hasn't gone well for her in a while. Poor dear.

OK, who has the balls to start wearing one first? If you're gay, then maybe, but for the rest of us it's gonna result in a well deserved wedgie. I'd prefer that fanny packs become acceptable again. I need a fanny pack. I want a fanny pack, but I don't want everyone to think I sleep under a Star Wars poster just because I don't like stuff in my pockets. I'll say your cape is awesome if you comment on the sensible stylishness of my fanny pack.

Real men don't give a flip what other folks think of their clothing style. You like it Anthony? Talk is cheap, do it. I don't care, and you can tell by looking at the way I dress. Man walks down the street in a hat like mine, they know he's not afraid of anything. What's the style? Whatever is comfortable or necessary. Cargo pants. Boots. Wide brimmed hats, and over-the-glasses sunglasses which are usually reserved for those 60+.

I am what is known as a 'trend setter'. Got it from my dad.

I have always wondered why Superman bothered to wear a cape. Did it help to keep him warm or to provide cover during rainstorms?......Superman didn't actually need a cape, but he was aware of its aesthetic possibilities. That's probably why God created Adam. It's not that God needed Adam, but that He was alert to the aesthetic possibilities of worship by a flawed mortal......There's not much drama in life when you're immortal and perfect. There's nothing to note your passage through space and time. The way Superman's flapping cape denotes the effort of Superman's flight, so do our numerous flapping, mortal moments denote the perfection of God.
