Join me in a little thought experiment.
Suppose some conservative think tank were to propose a Darwinian immigration policy. No longer would people be admitted because they had applied properly and played by the rules; nor yet because they were judged to be in need of political asylum. Instead, as in some dystopian science fiction film, applicants would have to go through an obstacle course designed to weed out the weaklings. Some would die in the attempt. Many more would turn back, defeated. Only the most crafty and determined would win through, bringing their cunning to their new homeland and adding their ruthless DNA to its gene pool.
I think we can imagine how the Left would react to such an idea. The people proposing would be howled down as Nazis, hounded out of public life. And yet the process I have just described is becoming an increasingly common route into Britain, America and Europe.
When illegal immigrants elbow aside those who have queued patiently and those judged to be victims of repression, Leftists demand that they be allowed to stay. (read the whole thing)Probably the most frustrating thing about illegal immigration is little discussed. It's the government number one job to protect the country against invasion. That is literally their number one job. Things have been slowly allowed to progress in such a way that it is conceivable illegal immigration will soon be the next pot legalization.

Don't forget the Republican's support for more and more H1B visas. Rubio's stance on this should more than disqualify him but, it doesn't.
I think black men with few skills would benefit most financially from a moratorium on immigration and a program that bars illegals from finding work. So a candidate like Trump will have some appeal to black voters.
Why does it have to be Trump? That's my frustration. The former democrat, Hillary supporting amnesty supporting quid-pro-quo businessman is now saying all the right things. Bizaroworld to say the least.
Why can't Walker or Rubio have a come-to-Jesus moment and pick up the torch? Americans want a fair immigration program. We already have laws and they are not being followed. The left/obama admin have rolled out the welcome matt for illegal border crossing. the left are doing so for votes. Everyone knows this.
Sitting in a bar in CB, a drunk-ish woman from Houston tells me she thinks Ann Coulter is scary but she is reading her book and I should too. I hear all over the place - read Ann coulter's book - even from lefties?
The unfairness of illegals jumping in front of legal immigrants is probably the one aspect that nobody can justify, and nearly everyone thinks is wrong. It's also the one thing that is impossible to fix other than the extremes of forced deportation or fully open borders.
If the Germans handled illegal immigration properly no one would ever have heard of Hitler.
It's called stuff the ballot boxes.

Because the others were afraid of being demonized like the Confederate flag?
It's not illegal immigration. It's invasion. That's what it's always been. It's the thing that shall not be named.
