This is the most uniquely beautiful part of this country. My bride, myself, and 3 friends almost died in a flash flood in KC in 1977. 16 inches of rain over 36 hours. Our car was washed away in the 'hood, driving home from a rained out Royals game. We took refuge in a Negro bar and the cops rescued us by boat. Spent the night a KC Police Station. 25 people died that night. I don't fuck w/ flash floods after that.
