“There are some who believe that I can force my colleagues to vote my way,” Mr. Schumer said. “While I will certainly share my view and try to persuade them that the vote to disapprove is the right one, in my experience with matters of conscience and great consequence like this, each member ultimately comes to their own conclusion.”Schumer said that after 10 years "we will be worse off with this agreement than without it."
Mr. Schumer said his chief concern was that Iran would still be free after a decade to build a nuclear bomb.

"Chuck Schumer Opposes Iran Nuclear Deal"
“Advocates on both sides have strong cases for their point of view that cannot simply be dismissed,” Mr. Schumer, Democrat of New York, said in a lengthy statement. “This has made evaluating the agreement a difficult and deliberate endeavor, and after deep study, careful thought and considerable soul-searching, I have decided I must oppose the agreement and will vote yes on a motion of disapproval.”

Schumer is a gutless weasel. He did a head count and knows there are enough Dems who will support this treasonous deal. So, he can posture now. This vote will not override the veto.
What Spinelli said.
"Schumer said that after 10 years "we will be worse off with this agreement than without it."
Obama is the one forcing this agreement, and he won't be running for anything again. In 10 years all the rich fucks running into Persia to make money will be his drinking buddies, and by then he expects to have another Bush or Clinton to blame, so what's the downside?
I know he doesn't trust the mullahs. Even he isn't that dumb. He expects that something fortunate will happen in Iran, like an uprising or political change moving them more friendly toward the west. Then, he would be a hero. It's possible, but I think it much more likely that everything happening there now gets worse with the addition of all the money freed up to the ones currently in power.
You're not helping your side with that language Meth. I suggest you delete and rephrase your point.
I'd say that's racist, but I don't understand the word anymore.

I mean what I say and I say what I mean. If you think saying nigger is racist within the context of who I'm saying it too, then maybe the English language is eluding you both. Maybe I should have called him the house zebra. Would that have been more gentile for both of your sensibilities? But seeing that he has a clear disdain for his Caucasian side of the family tree short until it's convenient for him to use, then I'd say the characterization of who he is as a person and as a leader is quite correct.
I will leave the statement where it stands. I'd like to know what helping my side means Rabel? Clearly, you've missed the statements Obama has made when he lumped vast hordes of Americans as being on the side of the Ayatollahs/hard-liners in Iran. Guess that whole hope and change and post-racial schtick was all fucking hot air and rainbows with glitter now wasn't it? It's good to know that when a president basically sells your country down the river, is working for the enemy isn't of his fellow American, that calling him what he is, is now seen as not helping my side. Un-fucking-believable how you guys think about this in the face of you and your country getting fucked by this guy for the sheer sake of his vanity.
And you have the temerity, the nerve, to tell me that my language isn't helping my side and that I should rephrase my truth to make you feel better about what you are reading? Really? This is the milquetoast, dick-tucking, weak-kneed, head-bowing behavior that I detest. You are willing to cede your dignity for this clusterfuck of a president so he can continue to screw you and this country to appease your sense of respect for him. What do you guys have, battered woman's syndrome at this point?
There's apparently a lot of noise in Gotham about this and, conventional wisdom notwithstanding, there may be more concern inside the walls of the Capitol than some see in their tea leaves.
Barry can pull his Nerobefell and retire. The Demos will have to live (however long) with the results and right now, it looks like he's doing to the Democrats what he's doing to the country.
So maybe Chuckie's hedging his best because this can still be presented as a treaty.

You obviously think more of his intellect than I.
He expects that something fortunate will happen in Iran, like an uprising or political change moving them more friendly toward the west. Then, he would be a hero. It's possible
It's also possible the sun will rise in the West.
No, this is more of his faculty lounge foreign policy that will result in another Libya, Syria, or Moslem Brothers in Egypt.
By helping your side I mean that you could make your otherwise valid points in a way that doesn't allow for their dismissal by anyone short of a Grand Kleagle as the rantings of a loon. And I don't bow my head to any man, brother, not to Obama and not to you.

I've never asked anyone to change their language to suit my personal tastes. Nor have a I ever suggested that anyone bow their head to me or any man. I am being blunt, I am being honest, I am being truthful in the way I am characterizing this man, this president. If that doesn't comport with not looking like a Grand Dragon loon, then who is really thinking that racism is afoot? I never have. I simply have used the language that blacks have used. Is that language exclusive to only them now?
Those were my words, Rabel. Mine. No one else's. I'll sink or float on everything I say and have said. So far, I'm still treading water and have been for a long long time. But this isn't about me. The focus must be put on showing people that Obama is and has been wrong since the day he was conceived. That's where the fight has to go and that's who I'm pointing my sword of language at.
I hate to give this lame-ass elitist pundit any credit, but for once, he realizes a pants crease is just another thing hanging down a man's leg that you shouldn't pay too much attention to. About time, dude.
