Whose that girl?

This lovely English rose looks wonderful tonight. Good enough to make you want to take heroin or join the Hari Krisha's!

Whose that girl?

I've known my current love for 35 years. I was always in lust with her (maybe it was love that my brain couldn't process). Mostly it was cowardice on my part. She tells me it was the same for her. It took us over three decades to finally get together and give it a go, after knowing each through a number of relationships with other people.

She doesn't know it, but for 30 years I have always thought of her when this song played. If you knew her, you'd understand why. Although I have her now, and that gives me the greatest pleasure day after day, I hurt for all the nights when someone else was looking at her and thinking what this song expresses so well. It could have been me.

There are few if any young men on this site, but if you are out there, and you love a woman, you have to just go for it, and do it now.

Did she regularly get assaulted on TV with a bucket of water?

Some might say she was asking for it.

Eric Clapton's "Layla" was intended for her and it worked. He wrecked two marriages.

Lesser known is that Layla's main riff was Duane Allman's riff so shouldn't he share some of the muse's credit?

Of course Allman didn't last to see his riff consummated.

Of course Eric Clapton came from a broken home and so it's no surprise that he was charged and loaded from the get-go to do some damage.

Sorry for the venom. I idolize Duane Allman and despise Eric Clapton.
