We are under red alert not
Allowing us to go out. Banks
And gas stations being fire
Bombed as are many cities
In Jalisco.20 bridges in
The capital.

So I do a search on news for Puerto Vallarta, because surely this is pretty important stuff. It's up there with Iran taking a US protected merchant ship, and far more important than a local media story of abusive cops.
Anyway, in the haystack of good tourism stories including "Travelling with Pride" (I'll let you guess the subject), I did find this article in the Examiner. It says that "confirmed reports" prompted the warning, and than say US authorities claim "there is no evidence".
I'm starting to think that Rand Paul has nothing on the Obama Administration in pushing an Agenda of American Isolation. If US merchant ships and tourist can no longer travel safely, they won't.
Dammit! I'm going to Cabo San Lucus in two days and you want to show me this shit? One thing I hate about international travel is that I can't take a gun. Everybody knows us wingnuts are just cowboys who hate gays and have sex with the lights out. What is a cowboy without his guns? A: Just a drunk in the dark. So be it.
Mike just wrote back to me and a bunch of other people. Apparently Mike thinks we're not getting enough information.
Cars set on fire at major intersections and near gas stations. 20 such incidents at Guadalajara and on bridges. Several people died, several dozen people arrested. Several such incidences at Puerto Vallarta.
Puer-to Vie-yar'-ta. You'd think it's be puerta vallarta, but that'd be a door not a port, then you'd think it'd be puerto vallarto since it must be o for port and since they must match, but that is a name and names reign supreme over ordinary grammatical rules and bust them right up as this here, o for port and a for the guy's name and there will be no matchup of endings because of -- name.
And you know what all this means? It means Mike is still in Mexico and not here in Denver and meaning it's not so hot in Mexico that one must fly north to escape it like hummingbirds do.

I thought they were still rebuilding in Cabo San Lucus - anyhow I wouldn't worry about firebombs in Cabo,
