"Kids found in freezer rarely were allowed outside"

"I been staying down here my whole life, and I never saw them outside, to the point where I thought that they actually moved out," said Rocky Ashford, 18, who lives in a neighboring town house at the Martin Luther King Apartments.
The grisly discovery was made Tuesday by a crew that had come to the home to evict the family. Police said the mother was taken into custody in another unit at the same complex as a person of interest in the case, but no formal criminal charges have been leveled this morning.

It's unclear how the two children died. Autopsies are expected to be performed this week.

A person familiar with the investigation this morning said Blair has confessed.

Two other children, a 17-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy, were also living in the home, even as their siblings lay frozen in the small deep freezer just inside the front door. Those two children also were rarely seen outside. They were placed in protective custody.

The two children, whose bodies police say may have been frozen for a year or more, hadn't been seen outside the house for years.
Gruesome stuff.

If I had to bet, I would place it on a larger welfare check.

I'm guessing that paying the electric bill was a pretty high priority.

I religiously avoid driving down or God forbid walking on or through Martin Luther King street, boulevard, avenue, section 8 or housing project.

John - yep. I'd bet that, too.

Do black lives matter?

MSM probably doesn't care in this regard.

I wonder if they were frozen with their hands up.

All kidding aside, what a terrible story. Any story involving kids not being able to live their lives out is terrible.

It is horrible. How did they die? Does anyone care? Will MSM investigate with curiosity?

...Give these kids some final dignity?

That headline.
Ya think?
Is that the key takeaway from this story, that the dead children found frozen in a freezer were rarely allowed outside?

Why is that the headline?
Couldn't find something better to entitle this story about the grotesque, probably criminal, negligence with which these little children were treated?
In 21st Century America?

About 15 yrs ago the two small daughters of a man I used to know couldn't be found one day. While playing they had climbed into an old refrigerator on his property and pulled the door shut. They were dead by the time someone thought to look there.

The dad isn't apt to ever forgive himself for not removing the door of the fridge to prevent something like that. The last time I saw him he had become an alcoholic and looked terrible.

The two stories are similar and then again they aren't.

The changed the headline...

"Mom of children found in freezer charged with abuse"

Stocking up? You know times are tough with one of Obama's strategies of Cloward-Piven.
