KLEM FM

Stop! In The Name Of Love was the 4th consecutive hit for The Supremes, songwriters Holland-Dozier-Holland, the musicians The Funk Brothers, and of course for Berry Gordy and Motown. I have a theory that Holland-Dozier-Holland were secretly pushing the budding romance between Gordy and Ross.

The song was released 50 years ago this month.

AP: Ex-Marine found guilty in shooting deaths of 'American Sniper' author Chris Kyle and another man.

That doesn't surprise me, Lem. There were witnesses.

But how long before we see ghoulish cheerleaders begging for leniency in the sentencing?

Myself and 2 other football players would do this song on the team bus after high school road wins. I was Florence. We got pretty good w/ the moves.

@Nick: Florence got the boot first, IIRC.

I could understand every word The Supremes sang. Back in the day good enunciation was a given.
