Obama shafts Hillary with amnesty and Ferguson

Kurt Schlichter writes that one great thing that Obama achieves by inviting million of immigrants to enter the country illegally and ginning up race resentments is keeping Hillary Clinton from ever occupying the Oval Office.

Schlichter proposes both  executive amnesty and Ferguson outrage have nothing to do with race, that Obama and his gang are Marxists, classists. And they are not the traditional Democrat coalition. It is a class coalition base made of rich and academic upper class whites, unionized sub-class, and lower class welfare recipients. When they won they had just enough, but now the other middle class workers are abandoning the Party and they are the people Hillary needs.

If you are a regular middle class worker, Obama's coalition does not want you, regarding you greedy and racist for your unwillingness to hand over your tax money to deadbeats, leaving you one reasonable political option, the GOP.

Amnesty is about creating a permanently poor underclass to be mined for votes.  Ferguson is about keeping core constituents angry simultaneously distracting them from millions of job-competitors. If sacrificing one middle class flatfoot, then so be it.

While all this is fine for firming his coalition, Schlichter says, it is a mess for Hillary Clinton.

Hillary was supposed to do what Bill did and bring back blue collar Democrats, people like  Officer Wilson but Obama doesn't need them nor want them. He's hung executive amnesty on Hillary.

Schlichter sees Hillary with two chief problems with mutually exclusive solutions: 1) Keeping Obama coalition's support. 2) Expanding the coalition to include middle class workers. The first she can undo but it won't help, and images of burning businesses won't either.

Hillary is already making moves to escape the trap Obama set. Chuck Schumer's confession that Obamacare was the wrong thing to do indicates this.

She must navigate the tightest of tightropes [mixed metaphor alert] by not alienating the base and that will be hard to do without Obama making it harder.

Schlichter says Hillary is not up to the task, that she is not that skilled a politician. He reminds readers she flunked D.C. bar. A few months ago Hillary appeared inevitable, but that was before considering the full extent of incompetence, narcissism and vindictiveness of Obama, perhaps preventing Hillary will be his greatest and only legacy.

Schlichter says a lot more and much more floridly here on Town Hall. The accompanying video says nothing but both Clintons campaign a lot for other candidates.

Barack Obama wants to be followed by a Republican president, not be Hillary Clinton.

Should Hillary be elected, all Obama can do is sit at home or make speeches, but basically, he can't play King of The Universe.

If a Republican is elected, Obama can run his ego-driven mouth about anything and everything. He can point his nose skyward and preach in high tones about how much better things were when Democrats held the White House. He can be SOMETHING. He can opine. He can be worshipped for the way things were when he was king.

But he can't do that if Hillster is the POTUS.

Hillary! would be the manliest Democrat to ever lick a self-hating gay Republican's balls - apart from Larry Craig, but he only does that in the private seating section of the public sector. And, depending on age, Mark Foley.

There is so much obsessive optics here that I'm actually amused. But I'm also encouraged. Like anyone decent and conscientious I hate Hillary! as a person, but appreciate the way the hatred for her (and Obama's) ego seems to be driving the most mild-mannered slate of Republicans ever. And that's a good thing.

This only breaks down if you think the fat asshole from New Jersey who thinks he's cool by calling voters "stupid!" and telling them to "shut up!" has a chimichanga's chance at a Chili's, but I doubt it. The new boring Republicans are better for everyone, whether they lose or not. It's probably not been since the 1920s that Republicans have been this bland and forgettable (apart from the only one with a brain and a conscience, Rand Paul), and I highly welcome and salute it.

It's when Republicans get flashy and attempt to have personalities that America gets into trouble.

The one thing Hillarity has going for her is the weakness of the Dems' bench. Sure she's a horror but who's going to rally round Pocahantas or Bernie Sanders?

And by all indications the Republicans are only going to take a token opposition vote to Hussein's amnesty. If the GOP runs true to course it will offer the millions who are screaming for an end to Schmendrik's bloated putrid corrupt state...another statist. So those millions will sit on their hands and that's how we get to a Rodham presidency, USA RIP.

O ric - you're never cuter than when lamenting the fact that GOP pols are still, too, running for state jobs.

Hillary will self destruct. She always does.

That doesn't mean that the Dems won't put up someone else that is better. Just different.

The problem is with the Republicans. Walker, Kasich or Susan Martinez will all be choices I could rally around.

I think Senator Paul is a good man and I wouldn't have a problem with him.

From now on, when I hear another Republican lamenting the fact that they almost forgot what business their candidates are in, I'll think of The Merchant of Venice:

I am a Republican politician. Hath not a Republican politician eyes? Hath not a Republican politician hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions? Fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as a Dem-o-crat is? If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that. If a Republican wrong a Dem-o-crat, what is his humility? Revenge. If a Dem-o-crat wrong a Republican, what should his sufferance be by Dem-o-crat example? Why, revenge. The villainy you teach me I will execute—and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.

Some of those lines need to be changed to illustrate the temptation to succumb politically to graft, sloth and greed.

The one and only gift Obama may have given us is that "new car smell" that Republicans can hang on Hillary. For anyone who missed it, Obama said it during an interview with former Clinton groupie, George Stephanopoulos, of all people, when George asked him what he thought voters might want in the next president:

I think the American people, you know, they’re going to want that new car smell. You know, they want to drive something off the lot that doesn’t have as much mileage as me".

Genius comment, really.

A lot of people seem to be willing to give the Choomster a lot more credit for genius than he has shown up to now.

Ferg just dropped in his lap, egged on by Commie agitators. If anything, it guarantees 20 years of Conservative Presidents.

Amnesty ensures his name will resonate worse that Carter's and Buchanan's combined.

The Ultimate Grube.

Key elements of the New Deal coalition were northern blacks and southern segregationists. The coalition is not so much united by a common cause as by their opposition to a common enemy. I don't think blacks will ever turn out for Hillary the way they did for Obama, but maybe she can energize a few more women. At any rate their common enemy will be heterosexual white men with good, non governmental, non academic jobs. As everyone knows, most of the world's problems are caused by these pricks. I'm sure that Hillary and Obama will overcome their evident distaste for each other in the presence of a common foe.

William for the win.

Lydia - When Obama said that "new car smell" comment, I thought the same thing. Thank you, Obama. Thank you.

AllenS said...

Because of Obama and his "cash for clunkers" scheme more people were forced to have that "new car smell".

Hillary! never got the memo.
