"Charles Barkley supports the Ferguson grand jury decision"

During an interview on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia on Tuesday, the day after the Ferguson decision was announced, host Mike Missanelli asked Barkley about it and why "black America" doesn't trust the ruling.

"The true story came out from the grand jury testimony," Barkley said, adding that he was made aware of "key forensic evidence, and several black witnesses that supported Officer Darren Wilson’s story..." He continued, "I can’t believe anything I hear on television anymore. And, that’s why I don’t like talking about race issues with the media anymore, because they (the media) love this stuff, and lead people to jump to conclusions. The media shouldn’t do that. They never do that when black people kill each other. "

Wow.
In contrast, Louis Farrakhan says blacks should “tear this goddam country apart!”

I know which side Obama favors.

Charles is the most honest, straightforward, commenter on race out there, and has been for a long time.

Gee, last time I looked, a court decision was the law.

you might not like it, but that was it unless there was an appeal or something.

Let's hear it for democracy, better known as lynch law.

Thomas Sowell thinks along the same lines.

On this issue back in August he asked, "If we can’t be bothered to stop and think, instead of repeating pat phrases, don’t expect to live under the rule of law. Do you prefer the rule of the media and the mob?".

Perhaps Farrakhan can support ISIS next? Create some ISIS fighters fighting for social justice with terrorism. Would that be cool with Obama and Holder? Just wondering.

What group of people should most understand the dangers and recklessness of mob rule? Of course, you would have to know history rather than just feel it. You would have to realize why we have grand juries, why we prefer rule of law, and why even with its imperfections, it protects minorities most of all.

Bago,

Do not panic! Tonight and tomorrow there will be water falling from the sky in Southern California. It is a natural occurrence in most of the country, you'll be fine.

I suggest gathering a few rain barrels in advance. On second thought, that might create a tax liability, I'm not sure, so be careful.

...with CA rains come the inevitable pea-green barcalounger, gently pushing through the mud on its way down the hillside. Big news.
