Went to see Wanda Sykes last night in Madison. SF is gay men Mecca and Madison is lesbian Mecca. What I liked was most of the lesbians[we knew a few] were of the genre that love women. I do great w/ that demographic, maybe as well as w/ any. No sexual tension, just straight talk. There were a smattering of angry, man hating, lesbians. But, Sykes is a woman loving lesbian so she doesn't speak to them. She is a very funny comedian.

I'm pretty sure that Van Morrison played his fair share of sold out shows. Deservedly so, too.
