"We were sitting at a train track today on our way from West Monroe, LA to Memphis when we notice a tractor trailer with a crane stuck on the train tracks. Then the train crossing lights came on and I grabbed the camera as the train smashed into the crane. We are getting a lot of comments about how we should have called 911 instead of filming. There was no need as we were sitting right in front of the police station. Believe me, they heard the crash and came running out. By the time we were able to go around the train and get to the other side, the police were over there and the driver of the truck was there as well. He is fine but we understand that the train engineers were in pretty bad shape. The thoughts and prayers of David's Garden Seeds And Products are with them. We pray that God will heal them. At the time of the crash, we were in shock and I had no idea what had come out of my mouth until I played the video back....you just don't know how you will react to tragedy that unfolds right before your eyes until it happens."

I thought I was going to see an Obama speech when I saw the title "Train wreck."
"There was no need as we were sitting right in front of the police station. Believe me, they heard the crash and came running out."
where? I didn't see that from the vantage point of the video.
I would like to think I would have parked and exited my car and attempted to help.

If God won't take requests from David's Garden Seeds and Products then there's really no hope at all for any of us.
First thing I thought of when I read the words train wreck was Joe Bidden opening his mouth again.
Wow, that truck parted like the Red Sea.
Driver's reaction was to drive over the downed power line and circle past the leaking gas (Argon), which could have been something much worse. Ooh, look at that smoke said the lady.
The proper reaction was to hit reverse and get the fuck out ASAP.
PD was about 50 yards down the street.
You could see that one truck in the beginning of the video just got the fuck outta there.
You city folk might enjoy opening google earth and taking the street view tour of beautiful downtown Mer Rouge.
I was stopped by the same sentence as Eric.
The thoughts and prayers of David's Garden Seeds And Products schlemeel, schlemazel, hasenfeffer incorporated amalgamated conglomerated, making your dreams come true, doin' it OOOOUUUURRRRR way, are with crane-truck driver, or drivers, however many of 'em there was in there, and for their speedy recovery, and for their families, all them people, and all of David's Garden Seeds And products hearts go out to all them people's heart in a great arcing of imaginary heart transference and everybody is really feelin' it over here in a big corporate conglomeration.

Following up on Chip's licking theme today (dog balls and hominid rectums so far), here's David of David's Garden Seeds and Products participating in a licking orgy.
I learned something today. In French, the plural of "anus" is "anus."
There is a deep meaning there, somewhere.
I take it that the crane bottomed out on the tracks, bad road design.
It's like going under a too-low bridge but there's no warning about it you could use.
There is a grade crossing near here that has steep approaches on both sides - there is a warning sign that low trailers may get high centered on it.
But that's not as much fun as this.
Mer Rouge Police Chief Mitch Stevens says the train engineer has a compound fracture to his leg and some bumps and bruises. The chief says the conductor has numerous broken ribs. He had surgery to remove his spleen and heart surgery related to the broken ribs.
I'm not seeing anything fucking cuntish about the photographer's remarks or the driver's response. They sound to me like surprised couple witnessing a traumatic event and attempting to process through while coming to grips with their situation and safety. Whether they're the sharpest at doing so might be debatable.
It appears as though the train may have hit the crane's counterweight, as the front of the train lifts upon impact.
That was a helluva collision. To be sitting in the engineer's seat seeing it coming with that much momentum rolling would be a bad dream come to life.
Ohhhhh Sixty Grit. Oh oh oh.
Ouch ouch ouch.
There were some injuries there for sure, and not just pride> But I laughed at some.
But look at all those rental trucks (splain that to the insurance company)... and AC units.
Deadly argon gas was released?
It is deadly - I wouldn't want to be immersed in a tank of it, just sayin'.
"Whut happened to them boys whut was in that tank?"
"They argon."
"There is a grade crossing near here that has steep approaches on both sides - there is a warning sign that low trailers may get high centered on it. "
Then there must be enough clear view for a train to stop.
They give no clue whether you'll hang up or not.
So it's otherwise negligent design.
Trains can take 2 miles to stop.
Idiot truckers (but I repeat myself) really have to have a clue about their route.
Most grade crossings have a sign that has a phone number on it to call if there is trouble brewing.
But some folks just want to see a really good train wreck.
